All Children Deserve Health Care
As the Children's Defense Fund (CDF) explains, “The recent expansion of the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) was a strong step forward. But even with that expansion, 5 to 6 million children will still be uninsured and millions more underinsured.”
To read more about how the current health care system affects children across the country, visit the CDF's website.
The CDF is teaming up with organizations across the country to make sure that all children are represented in upcoming health care reform proposals.
The National Congress of American Indians and the National Indian Health Board invite tribal leaders and tribal health advocates to join two special webinars and an in-person meeting on health care reform and Indian country.
The Latino population is affected by a wide range of risk factors and diseases. Timely access to health care could prevent and more effectively address nearly every health disparity Latinos experience.
