Comfy Joey Fundraiser: Help a Family Who Lost Everything in a Fire

Thank you to Ayesha from ComfyJoey.com for sharing this important fundraiser.

In an instant life can change. Imagine returning home from an outing with your family to find your home burned to a shell. All your possessions destroyed. Your favorite sweater, your favorite sling, computer, your children’s beloved cuddle toys, priceless pictures, sentimental heirlooms are all gone. It is painful to imagine such devastation but this is the reality for Kori and her family. In an instant, her family became homeless with nothing but the clothes on their backs and their vehicle.

Fortunately no one was hurt in the fire and they have each other. Rebuilding will be a long and difficult journey. Let’s come together to support Kori, an avid babywearer, Nick and their five and one year old boys. Let’s show this family that their tragedy is behind them.

From August 10th through the 30th, ComfyJoey.com will be offering 15% off all orders with coupon code KORI. The 15% you save is the same amount Comfy Joey will match with a monetary donation to Kori and her family and also match it with a Comfy Joey GIFT VOUCHER to help Kori replace her lost baby carriers. Get a gorgeous sling at a discount and help a beautiful babywearing family rebuild their lives.

Wear your babies and treasure every moment. We would appreciate all effort in spreading word about this fundraiser and promoting it among your friends. Feel free to post on blogs, Facebook pages and different forums. Please help spread the word and share this with your friends. Thank you.

This is a community effort organized by TheBabywearer.com friends of Kori.
