    .-= Becky Nelson´s last blog .. =-.

  4. We’ve been wanting a wooden kitchen for our 3 girls! I love all that the ROsie Hippo store offers, I think the Haba items are great like the wooden doll pram and the waldorf dolls. :) My favorite is the treehouse!

  5. I think my favorite toy on their site is the “Marbles & Blocks” marble run. It looks so beautiful and I can imagine the hours of fun my boys would have with that.

    The kitchen is beautiful too!

  6. I’ve never purchased anything from RosieHippo but would love this kitchen. I like the layout of their website and nice vivid product images. 8. I absolutely love all the wooden kitchen toys! All the things children love to play with pretending to be mama’s & papa’s cooking up some food for the family – and not that plastic stuff – this beautiful, healthy & safe to use wooden kitchen set, makes my heart *melt* Not just another plastic toy that will end up in the landfill, but a sustainable, pass down from generation to generation kind of toy like this I would be honored to have in my home!! What a great giveaway :) Congrats in advance to the lucky winner!! p.s. I liked on facebook too!!

  9. Our favorite product that we purchased from Rosie Hippos was my sons art easel stand and Stockmar paints. I love all their wooden furniture.

  10. Waldorf dolls are our favorate.

We’d love to have the kitchen as we just had to give away our very large homemade wood kitchen, since we moved into a smaller place, fingers crossed.

  11. I love Rosie Hippo have received many gifts from the site. I lOVE LOVE LOVE the owl mobile- I wish it had been around when my kids were little. The new site is gorgeous and I love the “view all” choice when looking at the new categories (which I also really like!).

    Fingers are crossed!

  12. The Rosiehippo website is GREAT! Not only do I love natural toys for my daughter, but these toys are some of the cutest around.

  13. i ‘like’ rosie hippo on fb and my favorite toy would have to be the green fairy doll. the website is extremely easy to navigate and find what you are looking for! i went to look at the dress up and house play sections and nothing came to mind that i’d like to see. they actually had a wider selection of things i generally am looking for than other stores.

  14. I love the wooden tricycle. It looks like a wonderful little trike! The website is cute and easy to navigate. I would love to see more toys by Spiel Und Holz! I “Like” them on Facebook as well.

  18. What a gorgeous kitchen! Just got their catalog in the mail this week and was wondering how. I guess Mothering shared my information with this company.

  19. I “like” Rosie hippo on facebook and I love all of the wooden doll furniture and of course, the kitchen. We try to fill our home with quality wooden, and handmade toys and Rosiehippo has such a wide selection of toys with these kind of values in mind! Love it!

  20. The website is gorgeous! So easy to navigate. I currently don”t have any Rose Hippo products, but I want them all! My toddler is kitchen obsessed. When you ask him what he wants for Christmas he says “kitchen”. Daddy is a chef & he wants to be one too!

  21. I liked RS on FB! The website is great! Love seeing the children enjoying the toys!!

As soon as I saw the kitchen and the chances of winning it I got really excited. I really want to get my BF’s daughter a wooden kitchen for Christmas. Wouldn’t that be an amazing gift? Good luck!!

  22. Love Rosie Hippo and especially this kitchen set. We have a lot of wood food, but nowhere to prepare and cook it 😉 Thanks for the opportunity!

  23. Omg I didn’t even know about this store/website until now!! I love it. The art easel and the doll furniture are awesome, all of it! I love how the site is laid out, very easy to find stuff in the categories and it’s actually affordable! I would LOVE to win this play kitchen for my son and any future children 😉

  24. Other than the fabulous kitchen, my favorite toy would have to be the recycling truck – toddler sized. My DD loves vehicles as much as she loves “cooking” :)

  25. I love the blossom doll!! Everything is great though:) I would love the kitchen! I love the website and its so neatly laid out and easy to maneuver!

  26. We love the parking garage! My brothers had a plastic version when we were kids and played with it till it fell apart. I love the fact that Rosie Hippo offers a non-toxic version (no off-gassing plastic). I also love the fact that this kitchen set up is non gender specific, thus vanquishing the bias that only girls should cook. Props to you Rosie Hippo! My little boy would love to win this kitchen!!

  27. I liked the Rosie Hippos Facebook site. My favorite toy on the website is the Kitchen Accessories Set. When I was little, it was all about the food, pots, towels, etc.

  28. Liked on FB.

My favorite Rosie Hippo Toy is the Large Wooden Castle and Castle Accessories!

I have always wanted a wooden kitchen for my kids!

  29. My favorite toy is the Skuut Balance nike but I also love the cart! My son would love to win the kitchen! He helps me all the time ; )

  30. I can’t believe I didn’t know about Rosie Hippo before! I LOVE their stuff! I love the variety and affordability, and the racial diversity of the dolls, as we are in the midst of an Ethiopian adoption.

I liked the facebook page and REALLY hope I win! Our kids would LOVE this!

  31. My favorite, hands down, is the kitchen! The site is easy to navigate, and I can’t think of anything else I’d like to see–it has the biggest selection of Waldorf dolls that I’ve seen anywhere.

  32. I liked Rosie Hippo on FB. I’m pretty much in love with all the kitchen play items. I especially like Mellie’s Kitchen. I wish it wasnt so expensive : ( My kids would adore playing with it.

  33. liked on fb! i love the wooden kitchen and picnic table. i have to say, people underestimate the power of the “view all” button. if i have to sift through images page by page i’m moving on to another website.

  34. It may seen really simple but I love the wooden ABC Blocks. I have been looking for some nice wooden blocks and the ones I am finding elsewhere are really cheaply made and they fall apart. So glad to have found these!

  35. We’ve recieved your Holiday catolog at least the past two years and we enjoy looking at all the toys over and over. My 4 year old went through this year’s and circled about half the toys, but she especially loves the dolls. My 2 year old loves anything with wheels, but he loves playing with the pretend kitchen at his sister’s preschool. We considered getting the set from Rosie Hippo but I’ll have to wait until next year so we can save up for them. I love how everything you sell looks of very high quality and the website is very easy to use. I really like the larger images. you are now liked on my FB page. Thanks for such a great give away.

  36. I love the pirate waldorf dolls! Love how easy the new website is to find what you’re looking for, and would like to see mama/baby nursing dolls on your site! Thanks!

  37. I like them on FB :) I love so much on their site! My favourite has to be the wooden books we got my son last year from them, though!

  39. I liked them on facebook, how could I not! I love their art supplies as well as the wooden floor puzzles. Thinking of all the fun I can have with my two little ones with such healthy and eco friendly toys :)

  40. How can I choose just one favorite… they sell so many beautiful things. The art table, kitchen and fairy silk dresses are among my favorites.

  41. Beautiful! Thats the kind of craftsman ship that you can pass down. The cheap plastic dosent hold a candle to real love!

  42. I love the Tortoise Stool! My little guy is entering into a stage of wanting to help with everything, and a cute little stool like that is PERFECT for making it easier for him to get to things! Their book selection is fabulous too.

The new website is really easy to navigate. I always like seeing a sidebar with categorization to make browsing quick and easy.

I’d love to see something like a scroll over “quick look” on the thumbnail pictures of things. Something that gives a quick peek at information, size etc. without actually having to click on the picture and be redirected.

But man, I love the website as is! I think some last minute Yule gifts may be in order….:)

  43. Thank you for the generous giveaway!!! The kitchen is absolutely adorable! Our three year old daughter loves cooking (real & pretend) and restaurant play! In fact, we are all a bunch of food nerds in this house :)

The entire Rosie Hippo site is wonderful, but I am most excited about the wooden shopping cart right now! Our daughter has been pretty happy about shopping with her own child-sized grocery cart at our local market lately. When asked what she wanted for Christmas this year, she’s repeatedly said, “A grocery cart!” I never thought I would find one that I liked and felt good about gifting her, until today!

Thank you Rosie Hippo for doing what y’all do! Good luck and Happy Holidays to everyone :)

  44. I love the gnome home and gnome dolls! So cool. I also like the treehouse! Your site is great and glad Mothering introduced me to you.

  45. I love all of your items, but the thing that we bought that we LOVE the most are the child sized bolga baskets. They are beautiful, well made, and the kids use them for an unlimited amount of things. Thanks for all that you do!

  46. I like Rosie Hippo on Facebook.

I love all the multicultural doll choices!

I love the pictures on the website and the easy navigation :)

I’d love to see more food sets, pots and pans (unless I missed them) or other kitchen play items :)

  47. I just liked Rosie Hippo on facebook. I LOVE all of the wooden animals and all of the wooden kitchen accessories. What a great selection of arts and crafts too – fabulous crayons, beeswax and paints.

  48. Tough one, but one of my favorites is that cool art table with the paper roll attached. I would love to see more language/letter learning toys — so nice to have an alternative to those electronic ones!

  49. I love the wooden kitchens and the animals. DS isn’t old enough for them quite yet but I am looking forward to him having a kitchen playset soon!

  50. My son received a Sweetie Doll on his first birthday. It is his very favorite toy and it has received much love. We don’t leave home with out it! 😀 It brings many joyful moments to my husband and I when we watch him “daddy” his babydoll.

  54. I love the play kitchen! I love natural/wooden toys and my little ones would be in heaven if we won. Who am I kidding, I’D be in heaven too!! :)
    .-= Elena´s last blog ..Wishlist =-.

  55. OMG I love the kitchen and the wooden hutch, and especially the refrigerator! Wood toys are so wonderful, no batteries and sustainable materials. Off of the Rosie Hippo web site I really like the variety of wooden blocks especially the Groovie Blocks. Blocks require imagination and creativity, no lights, batteries, or structured play required!

  56. I liked of FB! Personally, I’m on the hunt for adorable and natural cars and trucks (not always easy to find!) so I’m a big fan of all the wooden flatbeds and fire trucks and dump trucks. I’m sure my 14 month old son would just love them all!

  57. I was just looking through the website a few nights ago, and I love how “clean” and well-organized the new site looks. The toy listings aren’t crowded together, and even though natural, handmade toys generally are aesthetically pleasing, the photographs on the RH site really accentuate the toys’ natural beauty. I was looking for one particular toy and got sucked in!! Off to “like” the FB page… :)

  64. “liked” the FB page…My 4 year old has been playing with the Rosie Hippo camera since her first birthday! We LOVE it! Other children always think it’s great and much prefer it to the plastic ones most of them have. It’s a simple toy, but I think that’s part of what makes it our favorite!!!!

  65. Love the teethers, love the waldorf dolls- my son’s first and still favorite came from Rosie Hippo several years ago. thank you.

  66. We LOVE Rosie Hippo. I make a wishlist for my children’s grandparents so that they will only buy toys from Rosie Hippo. We have many favorites, but I would say a classic in our home that has been played with by my son as well as his younger sister (and my husband, too, for that matter) are the KAPLA building blocks. But honestly it’s so hard to choose one! Other favorites are the stitching squirrel, sorting box, knit cupcakes, ABC blocks, doll pram….ugh! I could go on and on!

  67. Oh we were planning on getting our son a wooden play kitchen but money simply too tight. What a great surprise this would be for our son!

  68. I liked them on facebook. I loved the movers truck and sorting sailboat for my son, but want the seahorse/mermaid waldorf doll for myself! Haha.

  80. My favorite toys are the wooden food. My son is really into pretend play right now and he loves to “cook”. All he’s missing is the kitchen.

  81. I “liked” the face book page…. I’m in love with this simple kitchen… I have a boy and a girl and its perfect for both of them… I really liked how simple the website is to navigate, I get frustrated with complex sites and yous kept me smiling :) I’d love to see even more variety for babies.. but you have wonderful things .. I will defiantly have to come back and shop.. theres so many things I’d love to get for my kids…

  82. liked rosie on fb! so many things to like on the website! i’ve always loved the wooden furniture from afar;) also love the lobster pull toy…very cute, unique take on a classic toy.

The kitchen is great, the instruments…

  93. “Liked” the page on Facebook! It’s funny, we just got their catalog in the mail for the first time yesterday. We especially love the Waldorf dolls and the kitchen furniture!

  94. We do a toddler waldorf class and so many of these toys are the same that my son loves in class. Aside from the kitchen-which is one of his absolute favorites-I love the set of 2 monkeys, the tortoise stool (think that goes to the top of the xmas list!), and the push toys. I want to touch it all! What a great site. It’s going out to the grandparents for sure!

I would love to see nursing/birthing dolls there!

  102. Oh I love love love the play kitchen. My toddler is the best little kitchen helper but is just too small to get near the stove. This would make her Christmas!

I also like the previous suggestions of the nursing and birthing dolls.

    Liked on FB.

  103. Our favorite Rosie Hippo toys are the Under the Nile cotton vegetables. The eggplant was my son’s first doll and the broccoli (his best-loved vegetable) was his favorite present from his first birthday.

  104. (Liked on FB) I love all the toys…ALL of them! I have to say that the registry feature is a great tool to make it easier for sharing the favorites with the grandparents who have trouble thinking anything that doesn’t play a movie or do all the entertaining at the push of a button is boring and have trouble with gorgeous things like RosieHippo offers. Hopefully I won’t be dq’d from the contest for that horrid run-on sentence, haha!
