UrthChild’s Tuesday Giveaway: Organic Robbie Adrian Blanket

Robbie Adrian Blanket

In an ideal world, every baby would have an organic baby blanket. UrthChild carries a beautiful selection of organic cotton and organic wool baby blankets in many different sizes. Today’s giveaway from UrthChild’s bedding department is a Robbie Adrian Luxury Organics Organic Cotton Velour Stroller Blanket with Straight Polka Dot Silk Trim.

I reviewed a Robbie Adrian organic blanket (with silk trim) in Strokes of Genius last year, and can confirm that the silk is SO SOFT, and the velour is remarkably cozy and cuddle-able.

  1. My favorite item on the UrthChild website is the Robbie Adrian Luxury Organics Organic Cotton Velour Stroller Blanket. Every child deserves a good organic blanket to snuggle with!

  2. I am in love with their waldorf dolls and wooden kitchen! So beautiful but much too expensive for Christmas this year!!! I <3 them though!!!

  3. My granddaughter would love a blanket…and so would my daughter! She buys pretty well all organic. Softness and durability makes for a cosy blanket to be cherished for years!

  4. Wow, is there ever a lot of amazing stuff on the site! I really dig the Oeuf Mini Library Bookshelf – Classic Collection. It would be perfect in our playroom!

  5. I typically look for a baby blanket to be super soft, organic and a large enough size to swaddle. Some baby blankets are just too small!

  6. I love all of the Abeko Ollie Rain outerwear items. It’s so hard to find rain pants, much less rain pants of that quality!

  7. Hi There,

My favorite things on the website are the Holztiger Wooden Animals… particularly the ram for some reason. 🙂

I also liked Urth Child on Facebook.

  8. I look for non-bleached fabric – organic and such. I like knowing my sweet baby isn’t wrapped in pesticide laced cloths.

  9. when looking at baby blankets I typically look for soft materials, also I want organic do not want chemicals for my babies. I also like urth child on facebook!

  10. Just found out I’m pregnant with #2–I like the carriers on the UrthChild site and would adore a sweet organic blanket for my babe to be!

  11. I love their natural wooden toys! I had my first little one 3 and a half years ago at the height of the lead paint scare so it is a constant mission to find reasonably priced natural toys!

  12. I love a snuggly, soft, organic blanket. One that makes extreme winter weather almost okay, while cuddling my nursing babe!

  13. Oh how lovely these are! I too love a good homemade blanket but these just look so super soft and I love that they are organic!

  14. I got to spend more time on your site today and I forwarded it to my parents, in laws, and sibs. I’m always working to direct my peeps to things that we’d like to get as gifts. Best way is to educate and provide options. I really love your site, it’s a really lovely selection of wonderful things!

Today I’d say I enjoyed looking at the Holtziger animals. Pretty sure I just spelled that wrong…but I’m sure you know what I speak of! Great work. I already ‘like’ you on FB so this is it for me today! ; – )

  15. There are so many items that I like that it is difficult to pick one. However, I will give a special mention to the Sarah Waldo Organics Scarlette Nightie since it is very difficult to find nice nighties, even more organic ones!

  16. Seriously? Choose one favorite? I can’t do it! So, what do I look for in a baby blanket? Soft, but not silky (they tend to seem slippery). Warm, and cuddly. 🙂

  17. I love the Robbie Adrian organic cotton lovey. My LO loves to snuggle and rub on her blankies while I feed her so I know she would love this.

  18. I look for a soft fabric that will hold up in the wash. There’s nothing like cuddling with a baby and nice soft blanket.

  19. Well since all of the baby blankets we received are gifts, I didn’t get much say in the matter. I definitely prefer organic materials and my son loves the ones with a satin edge.

  20. How beautiful! The most important things for me in a baby blanket are that the ingredients are safe for my baby, and then, that they’re safe for the earth and the people making the blankets, are grown without chemicals, are harvested and processed in safe ways for the people doing the work, and that the companies involved treat them well. (And I “liked” urthbaby on fb ages ago.)

  21. Oh my gosh, I am absolutely DROOLING over the NUI Organics wool blanket with the grid pattern. I’m a huge fan of wool and this one is just gorgeous!

  22. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Robbie Adrian Organic Cotton Velour Blanket with Straight Silk Trim. It looks like a great blanket.

  23. I look for comfort of course, but also what it is made of. It sites so close to baby’s skin and face, it must be of natural materials.

  24. I did the first two yesterday. I look for warmth but also the ability to hold up over time. It needs to last if it’s the chosen “blankey.”

  25. For baby blankets, I go for a pattern I like, softness, wash and dry ability, and natural fibres. I also love handmade stuff, like knitted blankets and quilts.

  26. I kinda like the simplicity of the Robbie Adrian Organic Cotton Fleece Blanket with Silk Piping, but I think a baby would prefer the

Robbie Adrian Organic Cotton Velour Blanket with Straight Silk Trim for the edging alone.
