I am still breastfeeding my 18-month daughter, and I plan to go on the Minesse birth control pill. I still have an abundant supply of milk and even feel the let-down effect. Will this pill affect my milk production?
My baby is five months old and since the time he was seven weeks old, he only has a bowel movement once a week. If he goes longer than that, I give him a glycerin enema. He eats well and seems otherwise to be healthy. He is exclusively breastfed. Is this normal? Do other babies go this long between pooping? Will the weekly enema harm him? Anything I can do to help the frequency? Last week, stomach massage in a clockwise direction seemed to help.
Is it okay for my one month old baby to drink water?
I am pregnant and have a one-and-a-half-year-old. I would like to tandem nurse, but both the pediatrician and my ob-gyn say I will not produce colostrum for the second baby if I tandem. La Leche League says otherwise. What do you say? And if the colostrum will be produced again while I tandem, are there any medical articles or research that you can point me to?
I am unexpectedly seven weeks pregnant. I have a 17-month-old who is still breastfed. He and I don't really want to wean, but my midwife strongly suggested it. She said it could lead to miscarriage or preterm labor. Can I continue as long as he wants (within reason)?
