Should I get the preservative free vaccination while breastfeeding my 10 month old daughter? Will the immunity be passed on to her or would she need her own shot?
It always best to get the mercury-free versions of a flu shot. It's especially important for anyone who is pregnant, nursing, or for young children. As for immunity being passed on, no, we don't think this happens (at least, no one has demonstrated it happens through research). So, an infant or child would need her own flu shot if you wanted her to have immunity.
