I wouldn't even have that swing if it wasn't for having older kids. We originally got it as a gift for my DD's first birthday. But....I highly recommend that you all first timers or mamas without swings get one and hang it from the eves or something.
After that picture was taken Annie fell asleep shortly after. I have to say...anytime I've had a fussy baby that just couldn't be happy...taking them out and putting them in the swing was always majic. And during the summer, you can just leave them in there to sleep. I usually cushion it with a blanket though.
