Muesli is a great one since it doesn't require cooking. Just soak the oatmeal the night before and then add yogurt, fresh or dried fruit, nuts, etc. in the morning. It's a great breakfast especially in the summer time/warmer...

As long as your house isn't dirty enough to affect the structure of the house itself, you don't need to clean. They don't care if you have crumbs on the floor. However, mold on the wall in the bathroom would be bad.
I'd definitely get a footrest...one of the great things about the Tripp Trapp is that the child's legs aren't dangles. Makes them much more likely to sit through a meal!
