I just had to reply to your post becuase I have been there. I lost my baby at 20 weeks and went through labor and delivered my baby girl a little over a year ago. There are no words in describing that experience. All I can say is that I am praying for you and that it will get easier. You will never forget and as I type this tears are filling my eyes for my little angel but it will get easier in time. I was one of those that chose to try again right away, and now I have...
You can still have fullterm healthy babies. I started Terb at 28 weeks and was then on bedrest until I delivered my twin girls at 38 weeks. So it is possible just make yourself take it easy, it will be worth it for babies that don't need any NICU time.
My girls were 5 lbs and 5-13 when they were born and 3 months later they are just over 10 lbs. Still tiny but so big at the same time. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...upsidedown.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...spolkadots.jpg
Jen- I too, was very excited to see pics of your little ones, I have a slight favortism towards twins. I do have one that is a little bigger than the other anywhere from 1/2 -1 lb. they were 5 lbs and 5, 13 when they were born. I did have a c-section after stalled labor, due to their heads butting together so they weren't letting one or the other start to descend and baby A was having heart decelerations and I had pre-E so it wasn't that great of a birth but it was...
Haven't posted since the girls were born. The twins arrived at 37 1/2 weeks, after 9 weeks of bedrest, but no NICU. this thread made me have to show them off! Everyone's little ones are just so...
I haven't posted in quite awhile, but I have been looking and everyone looks great and so much smaller than I feel. Anyways, I am still pregnant after 6 weeks of bedrest now. Here's my 34 1/2 week twin belly! They've stretched my skin so much I don't think it's possible to get more stretch marks. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...DSCF0294-1.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...DSCF0295-1.jpg
Jen- I am so sorry that you're in the hospital. I feel like I jinxed you, saying that you were the october twin mama's hope for an uneventful pregnancy. I know what you're going through, though I get to be on bedrest at home for the time being, and I know from only 3 days in the hospital that home is way better! But, I know they will take care of you there. I'll be praying that neither one of us gets to meet our babies for at least 4 more weeks! Keep us posted.
Pics from my official first day of bedrest at 29 weeks! http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...7/DSCF0273.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/n...7/DSCF0278.jpg
Well, I just got home from a few days in the hospital with contractions, and am now on bedrest at home. I am 29 weeks today so I need to keep the girls in at least 5 more weeks, more would be great. I am on medication to keep the contractions down so hopefully my cervix can stay closed for weeks to come. We're building a house and are supposed to be moving in 3 weeks, so moving on bedrest should be fun! My mom and sister, who live 9 hours away are going to come...
