I too have a very spirited 16 month old. She is such a handleful - but she is a pretty good kid. Our nursing relationship is sometimes strained. She too likes to tweak ym other nipple -however for us this saves me the headache of her doing gymnastics so I let her. We do not do any nursing outside of the house anymore so its not really an issue for us. We are working on other manners though. If I wear a tank top she will try to pull it down and nurse. Basically I just...
My stepsons are almost 3 & almost 8. The oldest calls me Jessica or mommy -he has done it a few times around his mom and she gets SO angry) We told him he is allowed to call me whatever he feels comfortable with. The youngest doesnt say much, and its normally "hey you" like it is to everyone else. It will be interesting to see how things go when they come to visit next time. Since we just had our little girl (she is about 10 months and the hubs has been deployed so they...
Start slow. My husband just started the kids with "You need to respect her the way you respect all adults" Then he let us build a relationship. I showed the kids respect and then I got it in return. Once we got married and moved, and the kids started staying with us we had a family meeting. He explained the rules of the house, and told them that " JESSICA is going to be like daddy while I'm at work, when she is here you treat her like you would treat daddy" And it all...
We started tummy time from day one. We would start with 5 minutes and then worked to about 20min 2x's a day. Sometimes its didnt go to well, and I would get down on the floor with her -which helped. Tummy time really helps with head control, and mobility. Also the sooner you start the less of a hassle it is. My friends 7 month old has never done tummy time, and she can hardly roll, and obnviously isnt crawling or moving or anything. She didnt get good head control until...
My daughter is about 9 months, and the past few nights its like she doesnt wanna sleep in my bed. We've been struggling with he wanting to be latched onto me all night...literally. Well then I noticed so would coninutally pull away and not sleep, so I decided Id put her in her crib, and instantly she fell asleep...well she has done that the past few nights, and then last night it was like she couldnt make up her mind. Do kids just wean themselves to there own beds? Do...
They are 7 & 2 (they will me 8 and 3).... My favorite thing is when all this kids come get in the bed in the morning...makes life happy. lol
My daughter is 9 months old. I would like her to be in her own bed by a year (mainly because my husband will be home from deployment and he isnt good sleeping with a baby in the bed) Well I wont push her to sleep in her own bed all night until she is STTN (which is not the case now). At night I put her to bed at 7:30 in her own bed, she sleeps there until around midnight when she wakes up and then we head to my bed. Well when my husband gets home we will be getting the...
well it depends on the age of the child. Children don't comprehend sharing until around 3 years old (and the general rule is chidren will learn to share naturally by about 7). For me I let it go. The kids can work it out on there own (which teaches them many many skills for later on in life) Now if the child like in the above case, comes and ask for there object back (and its "theirs") then Ill get the child to return it and they can find something else. Now if the...

I agree you need to ask your doctor ALOT more questions I had my daughter at 35weeks, AFTER my doctor did an amnio to make sure her lung were developed. She did fine, she was tiny & still is. We were in the NICU for 9 days due to jaundice. Other than that she was breastfeed and is doing well not, BUT AS YOU SEE I'M THE MINORITY
