Yeah, I don't want them to skirt around everything like they did with my daughter. I'm of the mind that if we find out, we find out, but we may or may not have them tell us. I think guessing is really part of the fun. :)
That is an adorable scarecrow. My daughter wants to be *Princess* Darth Vader, this year, so I'm going to have a fun time crafting this one. Over the past few years, I've made a fairy, a dragon, and a purple superhero princess fox. I have to admit that I love my daughter's creativity and her faith in my abilities, but oy, she's going to make my head explode, one of these days. ;)
That sounds like a fabulous idea. I'm going to have to find myself some chocolate mint tea to mix with the RRL. :) I hear you ladies on the weight gain. I think I've managed to slow my progressive gain, but I still obsessively weigh myself. After being told I should only gain 25 lbs, having gained 14 of that already has me totally freaked out. I didn't hardly gain anything with my first pregnancy (and actually finished with a net loss), so I don't know if this is...
My exercise today was heading out to the barn to help a friend with the care and training of her new horse. She's still too young to be saddle-ready, but she's so sweet and fun to walk with, and I can't help that the little girl in me squees every time I go out there. :)
I had a cesarean with my first, so there will be no induction for me. It's VBAC or CBAC, as the risk of rupture with induction is too great.
You do make a good point regarding the drip. It is definitely something I've been thinking about.
Thank you for the site rec! I'll have to check it out. :)
I am very excited for the coming cooler weather. I love soups and stews. They're just so easy to make and adjust. I made some curried carrot and lentil soup with chicken andouille sausage, about a week ago, that totally hit the spot, and I have a recipe for chicken poblano chowder already queued for this week. Man, I'm making myself hungry, just talking about it.
My first pregnancy, I spotted off and on through the whole pregnancy, especially when my husband and I DTD. I even passed a couple of clots, early on, and thought I was miscarrying, but, one trip to the ER later, and I was told that my placenta had decided to move... At any rate, I hope it's just spotting and not something more serious.
