Not sure of your dd's age, but we picked up a subscription to Click n' Read for the kids last year through Homeschool Buyers Coop. Dd enjoyed it and did about 40 lessons. We're continuing with it this year (she's 6.) Since it's a life...

My bulk store sells BS for $0.38/ lb. I also tend to get their store brand (distilled) vinegar. How is non grain vinegar made from petroleum? : I had never heard of that before.
I love fall, but my problem lies in where we live (SoCal.) Without many trees that are turning nor a large squirrel population, how else could we go about marking the more local trends of fall?

We've been doing the GS by workbooks all summer as a prelude to a Daisy Scouts this year. So far, dd has been jazzed with the books and I'm hoping that whatever local troops maybe open to us will allow her to connect with other girls...
Learning through games is our big focus this year. It's just seems to work really well since my kids are 20 months apart. I'm also OM 1 as a core for language arts, math stories, music and crafts. I like the Little Otter Science...
