Check Elana' s pantry!  She uses almond flour: http://www.elanaspantry.com/category/desserts/ I know some people aren't a fan of agave but I imagine you could use honey or maple syrup in it's place.
Has anyone ever heard this?  I can't find anything online supporting it and I have never heard this reasoning behind why people schedule nursing.  I was talking to MIL tonight and she said that her ped. told her that the calories in breast milk concentrate after 3 hours.  I just said, "Oh, I've never heard that before.  That would be strange since it's digested in 1.5-2 hours."
Here's one: http://heavenlyhomemakers.com/giant-breakfast-cookies No sunbutter but you could certainly toss in a handful.
Perhaps a fruit crisp like this one?  http://www.elanaspantry.com/revised-peach-crisp/ Or Banana "ice cream": http://www.thekitchn.com/thekitchn/stay-cool/how-to-make-creamy-ice-cream-with-just-one-ingredient-093414
We just put DD on the GAPS diet and she and I are both off of nuts and eggs while we try to figure out some allergies.   None of us handle dairy.  Both of us eat quite a bit.  DH has high protien needs too.  So she is grain, potato, egg, nut, dairy, soy, bean free.   Basically, There is nothing inexpensive to feed her.   Is there even way to do this on a budget?  We try to keep our grocery budget around $450 a month.  I try to buy as much organic as I can but I can't...
Well, I pitched it.  It had cooled enough by the time I went to bed that i could have put it away but I forgot.  If I had turned the heat off under it right before bed I might have saved it.  It was mostly for DD who we are starting on the GAPS diet.  Her body isn't very strong right now so I didn't want to push it.
I am SO upset!  I had some chicken stock on the stove cooling and I forgot to put it away before bed.  I have to toss it, right?  Reboiling won't be enough to save it, will it?  I am just so sad to loos such a lovely pot of nourishing stock.
Thank you for your responses.  I am hoping we can make this work.  I am transitioning her onto the full diet and hopefully in a few weeks we can do the intro.  I think the intro will be valuable for her.  She is currently off, well, everything but meat, veg and fruit so I guess we are mostly there minus probiotics.  DD2 is having some issues too so I am eating the same things which is helpful I suppose.  I wish I could do the intro with her but since I am nursing that is...
JoyBird, Her face is looking slightly better the last 2 days since she is off gluten but I agree that helping her gut heal would be best.  She had heavy antibiotics at one day old for 2 days and we have always believed that they totally messed her up.  (grrrrrr) I am looking into the GAPS diet.  I will admit that at first I when I looked at it I thought, "No way!", it's all very overwhelming.  I still have a hard time seeing it be a workable diet long term, primarily...
What sort of gut healing regimen did you do?     She has been better for two or three weeks.
