I would think you could still use it for your ear, being that it's more of a topical thing rather than ingesting it.
What a bummer, you are really stuck between a rock and a hard place. Let me see if I can dig up some more info.
Hey mama, congrats on your new babe!! Now let's see if we can help you get your babe to become a nursing champ, because you know we can!!
The first thing you need to do is to get in touch with an LC or La Leche League Leader. You are going to need support and IRL is way better than on the internet, not that we aren't important too.
The best way to get baby to the breast is to get rid of the bottles. Bottles are going to interfer with baby learning to nurse properly...
No worries mama! You should be fine. An occasional bottle shouldn't present any problems and if it does, you know what you do, quit offering them. But no worries for the occasional bottle
Get some rest and know that your girl knows where to get the good stuff!
Oh mama, I feel you. This has been utterly the worst year for our family with colds and flu, I swear between the 4 of us, one of us has been sick since Oct.
So no vitamin C? What about zinc?
You can also take garlic raw, slice a clove into pill size pieces and take about 5-6 cloves a day. Garlic is both anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. You can also take a bit of olive oil and chop up garlic and put a few drops in your ear(I just got risd of an ear infection this...
I would feel so hurt if I were you. In fact, I am hurt for you. that was totally lame.
You have legal protections, for sure. But I wonder if maybe you can approach it like, if it was good enough for Jesus, I think it's good enough for my babes.
Or, maybe you could point out that it would be a good influence for these boys to see a mama nursing. god forbid the mammary glands do what they were biologically intended for.
Good luck mama!
I haven't nursed through pregnancy, but I know lots of women who have and had no issues. You can find a ton more info about nursing while pregnant at kellymom:
I would personally just keep nursing and not worry about it unless something comes up.
Good luck mama!
What a strong mama you are !! Wow, kudos to you!
No onto getting you some more sleep. Have you tried breast compressions? That worked wonders for ds when he wanted to hang out all night attached. This link has instructions and videos on how to do them:
Good luck mama, I hope you get some sleep soon!
Just keep nursing, you should be fine. I definately notice a difference in my supply if I am not taking care of myself or not eating right, but then I start taking care of myself and we are back right on track. It also depends on ds nursing moods, if he is teething, sick, busy, whatever is going on.
Don't worry mama, you are doing great!.
