We have a doula training set up for April 2014. If anyone is interested, visit the registration link here. http://www.erikaurban.com/doula-training.php   This is for the Shreveport/Bossier City area, but of course ladies are welcome to travel!
DH is USAF and applying for a special duty assignment at Pope AFB. So I guess that would be Fayetteville. Can one keep chickens in Fayetteville? Or is there a rural-ish area near enough to commute and keep chickens and such?   I'm glad to have found this thread!
I dont know if we're still active or not, but here's an update. http://newmexicanlibrarian.blogspot.com/2011/03/tandem-nursing.html
It's been a few weeks now and we're still going strong. But now, what's everyone's opinion on NIP with a 2 year old? She nursed in church this morning after baby brother was done and asleep. And then she fell asleep too. It was kind of nice. Most I've heard of a sermon in a while!
I'd love one of these. My husband is deployed and hasn't met our baby boy yet. So this is a manly way to help with bonding. It's healthier than that old suggestion of daddy feeding a bottle or whatever. Didn't Brad Pitt babywear? Does that make it manly? http://www.babble.com/CS/blogs/droolicious/archive/2009/01/27/star-baby-how-does-brad-pitt-schlep-knox.aspx
Here's a post about my new tandem nursing relationship. My daughter was adopted as an infant and now she's nursing along with her new baby brother.
