Loving these! My baby is 4 weeks old today... can't believe it! Haven't taken any pics lately because my kids have purple faces from gentian violet but here are some from earlier this month: Birth day http://www.mothering.com/discussions...pictureid=1803 http://www.mothering.com/discussions...pictureid=1804 http://www.mothering.com/discussions...pictureid=1802 5 days old http://www.mothering.com/discussions...pictureid=1879 11 days old with...
I have totally slacked off on the binding. I have the ITA 12" and despite being tall and long-waisted I find it uncomfortable. It feels like it digs in especially where it fastens around my hips and also I'm so hot and sweaty already it just makes me feel worse. What I dislike the most is I can't put it on myself (well I can but can't get it tight) so I have to make sure DH is around to help. And when I take it off I am afraid the velcro will wake up the kids! Under...
Cheapo Gerber flats in a Bummis superbrite cover size NB/XS most of the time. I have some prefolds I got as hand-me-downs, not sure of the exact size but they are too big and bulky so not using them yet. I have 3 BG AIO size NB/XS that work pretty well but I have to rinse off all the poop from the diaper otherwise it doesn't all come out in the washer. I have one Thirsties fitted and Thirsties cover both in XS that I am pretty happy with as well. The Thirsties...
Yay! Congrats!
Congrats!
MP- Welcome to this side! Bri- I also have a spot on the side of one areola that just a little milk (like a dot) comes out of... it is weird! LC- DS has been an in-arms baby for the last 2 or 3 weeks (although he will sleep in our bed if he has nursed to sleep and is right next to me.. if I try to sneak out of bed he is up in 5 minutes). Anyway, right now he is napping on his tummy (in his crib!!!) with a swaddleme and a paci (the paci tucked strategically...

I am giving myself permission to save whatever baby stuff I want to, though, either for my little sister or "just in case" we change our minds 5 or 6 years from now. I'm hoping that will ease...
He has been much more helpful this time. I think he was a bit scared of DD. He has a lot more familiarity with taking care of a baby now and with what the household chores are and what needs to get done and how to do it. I do wish he would play less online poker. He stays up late doing that and then is super-grumpy at night wakings and in the morning and then more of the choe load falls on me. Although he seems to be able to get DS to sleep and take a paci whereas I...

I think maybe my MIL gave DD a bath before she left 2 weeks ago... she is a stinky toddler. And I forgot how much...
