I feel rather silly now, no August baby for us.  Second m/c started this morning.  I'm wishing all you mamas a happy and healthy 9 months!!
Whoohoo  so exciting!!   Bubblette- pregnancy #3, hoping for baby #2, Due on August 19th.  DS 19 months, and we're not finding out the sex.
Hi Ladies,     Does it really look like I ovulated on day 11?  http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Bubblette  A bit of background, 16 moths pp, still breast feeding 3rd pp cycle.  I ovulated for the 1st time last cycle somewhere between day 35- 37, with a 3 day LP.  I started taking a Bcomplex with 100 mg B6 on day 1 of this cycle but didn't expect it to work like this! I know my chart says "dry" on days 7-11, but my CM was really more wet, I marked dry as...
We could not find a provider who was willing to adapt to our food preferences, but could find one that did naps when kids are tired rate hr than scheduled.  It's such a struggle!  I agree with the pp - if you want to continue to pursue home daycare make a list of must haves vs. nice to have.  I'd also say look into Au Pairs if you're already interested in that - more control and cultural exchange too!  we'll be going for it next year :D
If you were asking about Au Pairs   Most of the programs have a $300-$500 application fee, but then before the au pair comes over you owe the whole program fee ($7,000-$10,000).  Some of the programs have monthly payments like this one http://www.aupaircare.com/host-families/payment-plan or this one http://www.aupairint.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=65&Itemid=84 .  You'd have to go through program by program to find the best offer for your family....
if you have veggies all cut up a few days in advance you can make all sorts of great salads and such.     We're into vietamese cold rolls right now. They're super easy and quick- rice rolls filled with some bean noodles (both only take less than a min in hot water to soften/cook) all sorts of pre-chopped veggies plus any left over protein like chicken or hamburger.  Super healthy and a great way to repackage leftovers.  This week ours have been chicken, carrots and...
Have you thought about an Au pair? That's what we'll be looking into next year :-) Seems like a perfect solution for my family - $17-20,000 a year (depending on company) for in home child care and the cost doesn't go up with more children.  Plus it's cultural exchange, a second language if you want and 45 flexible hours of child care per week.
Here is my chart http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/Bubblette   Please tell me what you think!  I'm going nuts over here.... it's my first pp cycle, DS is just turning 1.  We still co-sleep and DS nurses most of the night.   Prior to having my DS my temps were much higher in general and my LP was 12-14 days.  I did not ovulate before my first ppaf and my temps were much more erratic than this month's chart.  No sign of AF today at 15dpo, I really felt like I...
UGH  I would really really like to lose the green eyed monster sitting on my shoulder.   We're ttc #2 this cycle.  If we don't fall pregnant then for some really big reasons we have to wait until the start of 2012.  I'm in the 2ww, *I think* (not positive if I ovulated as I was sick.... but I think I did).  and it seems EVERYONE is getting pregnant around me.   I am happy for them!  I'm just also sickeningly jealous.  Every single person I know who had a baby in...
We moved our mattress to the floor when DS really started moving/ stopped needing to be swaddled at about 6 months.  After about 2 months of that we changed things a bit again, we put the crib mattress ( a crib he's never been in! ) on the floor next to our bed. So that the crib mattress is in the corner and then our bed is snugged right next to it.  DS naps and starts the night on the crib mattress and then moves into bed with his first feed of the night.   *For us*...
