That was my worry with chiro care in my first pregnancy! I thought I was the only one who would think that :) This time I'm seeing a chiro until the end though, because I think when I stopped going last time in my second tri. that my baby settled in my pelvis wrong toward the end. So all that pain in the hips & pubic bone wasn't for nothing - at my prenatal today (37w) the baby had dropped some and I was measuring 37cm instead of the 40cm I measured last week. Except...
I do the same thing making a quart of infusion w/a red raspberry & nettle mixture. I think it might have something else in it too, maybe oatstraw? And I agree it's really good iced w/some honey :) I haven't ever noticed an increase in contractions from drinking it either, and I've had BH contractions for most of this pregnancy.
DDCC from Nov. to say that squatting has been the one comfortable thing this pregnancy! I sometimes find myself squatting in the aisle at the grocery store pretending to look at things on the bottom shelf just so I can get some relief in my legs/hips/low back.
Yikes! I'll have to take a look when I go home. Not an inspection I want to be doing in the work bathroom! This is my second pregnancy and w/my first his head never engaged and he never dropped so I don't know what's going on w/these sensations.
I noticed last night after I got off the couch that my pubic bone was hurting when I walked. All night long and this morning it feels like it's bruised, and my tailbone kind of feels the same way. Anyone know what's going on or have this happen to them? I'm just now 36w.
I started calling my mom Nana, but she kept saying it sounded like her baby word for banana, so I jokingly started calling her Grammy Grams and now my 4 year old calls her that most of the time :) Otherwise it's Grandma (first name) or Grandpa (first name) for my parents & their spouses, and Babushka and Dedushka for my husband's parents.
Wow - I'm not nearly so crafty so everyone is getting homemade hot fudge sauce for Christmas :)
I am feeling the need to stockpile food and made a huge costco run today. Hopefully this motivates me to organize the pantry now that I have all these dried/canned goods to put in there! I think once we order that 50 #s of ground beef we should be set until I feel like cooking/shopping again! :)
