awww, that stinks that you have to wait all weekend.  a test of patience for sure.  let us know your numbers when you get them.  Now that I had mine done, I'm always interested in other women's numbers.  Sound like it's good news to me.  What else did they test for beside betas?
Inna- hopefully you will feel more human once you hit the second trimester.  I always have.  But yes this part is not fun.  But the benefit of the brain fog is that it serves as a sort of amnesia- you'll forget just how much it sucked and you won't remember exactly what you're feeling right now.  It sort of works the same for giving birth- at least for me.  Last time, I was like oh I remember that this is what it feels like- I hate this, and sersiously wondered why I...
thanks for all this info ladies.. it's helpful to hear how it works for others.  In reading through your lists, I feel like we are already doing a good portion of those.   We own both of our vehicles outright  and they're older, so we pay lower insurance/taxes.  The thing is we need to start saving for replacement ones, since these won't last forever.   We do have a land line, but only use trac phones for cells.  These are only for emergencies and are prepaid.   We...
try taking a walk during the day- it usually helps me sleep better at night.  It does seem counterintuitive, but exercise will help you to have more energy during the day too, even if it's just a little.
I'm just wondering for those of you who have 4 or more, how do you afford it?  We're going on #4 and things are tight.  We can't seem to get ahead.  A big issue for us is food- we are gluten free, dairy free and paleo most of the time.  I know too much about food to eat lower quality.  That is a huge chunk of our income.  We try to keep it as low as possible, and don't really eat out, but still?    DH is saying that he's done after this one, although he like the idea of...
Happy Birthday Metasequoia, and I'm definitely thinking of you today.
so funny, I was just on here typing about my visit when you were typing this.   those numbers look good!  although I'm no expert in thyroid results.  They're higher than mine though. I'm so sorry about your hcg numbers  I'll be praying for a healthy and positive outcome for you.  Are you starting a prog. supplement?  Can't that prevent a miscarriage if you start right away?  Maybe that's all you need for this to turn around?  I don't know anything about prog. but I know...
I saw my naturopath today and she put me on a low dose of naturethroid to start.  She will be monitoring my blood levels every 3 weeks for a while and adjusting the dose as necessary.  She also thinks this may be related to iodine deficiency and wants me to eat kelp/nori daily along with some tyrosine capsules.   I can't tell you what a relief it is to have this being dealt with- properly!
the both of you deserve a gold medal.  I am usually paleo when not pregnant, and have done full gaps in the past (not when pregnant), but man when I'm pregnant I cannot even read the foods you're mentioning without feeling ill.  I just cannot stick to paleo when preggo.  The craving for carbs is so strong, and it's the only thing I can eat (most of the time) that doesn't disgust me.  I do still eat my 2 eggs and avocado/berry/kale smoothie for breakfast, but I'm craving...
I love Whitley- very unique!  And Laurel is lovely too. The meaning of Abbott is father/priest or spiritual leader... I love that! If we had girl/boy twins I guess it would be Ingrid and Abbott G/G twins (which would give dh a heart attack, putting our total at 5 girls) would be Ingrid and Evelyn (maybe, I'm not believing that we'll get 2 girls).  But we'd be grateful no matter what!
