26 weeks, 4 days My coworker took the pic.   @mattie426 Hey due date buddy! I've been having trouble working around the belly too! You look great!   @holliet You are looking awesome with that lovely baby belly! I have a low lying placenta. It is 3mm from my cervix. I am getting another ultrasound at 28 weeks, 5 days to see if it has migrated. Usually the placenta will "move" away from the cervix as the uterus grows so I am not too worried about needing a section at...
She could probably get a job during the holiday season. She has done some babysitting but she hasn't had time for any regular employment because of her school and sports schedule. She makes straight 'A's, takes gifted and AP classes, is treasurer of the student government association, french club, beta club, she lettered and made both varsity and the state team in cross country. She also has a very active social life and other parents refer to her as nice and popular. She...
My 16 year old DD is constantly asking for stuff, expensive stuff. Right now she wants (doesn't need) a pair of UGGs. I told her that she needed to look at some less expensive brands. This did not make her happy. Recently my sister gave my 10 year DD a pair of her old EMU boots. I had nothing to do with my sister choosing to give which DD the hand me downs. When teenage DD found out that 10 year old DD got the hand me down EMU boots she threw a tantrum. She screamed at me...
@mama sarah Your belly is so cute! I'll get a pic of mine up soon. I have never run during pregnancy so I don't know what the having to pee milestone is like but I can imagine!   I'm glad you are feeling great and everything is going smoothly. All that initial bleeding was super scary.   YAY for early nesting! I have been having some of that too and I think it's because of the looming holidays. I have been cleaning out the house and donating a lot to charity. As far as...
@Evan&Anna's_Mom My 13 year old DS has anxiety, ADHD and learning disabilities (he has sensory issues too). In 6th grade, school was just too much and we were able to put him on Hospital Home Bound instruction. A certified teacher from the school district came to our house everyday and provided one on one instruction. All we needed was for DS's psychiatrist to fill out the hospital home bound paperwork from the school. Social skills are a deficit for my DS too but we have...
@snowydays I have never had anyone be happy when I announced a pregnancy. Hell, even with the one I am pregnant with now my mom's response was "oh shit, you have to stop doing this!" Oh shit was probably a more appropriate response when I was pregnant with my first at 19, with no education and no job but now I am 36. I have a masters degree, am employed full time and completely support myself but the negative comments from family still came rolling in. I look at the...
I'm expecting baby number 7 and it's the only one we planned, all the others were surprises (aka oops!). I did get pregnant with this babe on the first try. It took my younger sister almost a year to get pregnant with her little one. So everyone is different. I think you got some great replies and pokeyAC is right on with the statistics. Good Luck!
I didn't temp after getting my positive. I can see why you are concerned. Your temps do look like they are headed south (TCOYF has indicated that this could be a sign of impending miscarriage. It said could, not is!) but you did have one low temp on the 7th (11DPO) and a lot of the data (other temps are missing). Your last non-pregnant cycle didn't dip below 98.0 after O and AF still showed up. TCOYF also says that 18 days of temps above the coverline is a positive chart...
I could have written those exact words! I LOL and thought at least I am not the only one with duct tape on the vacuum!  I make enough money to pay all of our standard living expenses every month BUT I still end up trading off bills because two of my five kids have special needs. I can't always determine how much I am going to have to spend from one month to the next on doctor bills. I know that in December we are going to have an additional $200 in co-pays to specialists...
ash - I have a crazy sweet tooth going on too!   I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow and I weigh 125lbs. That's a 20lb weight gain for me so far. If I gain a pound a week until delivery that will put me at a 34lb gain total. I'm pretty happy with that. This baby is a boy and my boys have always made me gain more than my girls. Although my girls always weigh more than the boys when they are born they have never nursed as much as the boys. With my first son he nursed so much that I...
