Anyone want to share their exercise thoughts for postpartum? I would be especially curious to hear thoughts about how long it is wise to do nothing for and then what types of abdominal exercises can help muscles etc strengthen. I am ready to be more active!

I ran into a friend yesterday who is five and a half or six weeks pregnant and has been having some bright red bleeding. The midwives say her hcg levels are still high- have any of you experienced or heard of this happening and going on to have a healthy pregnancy? I know that miscarrige is sometimes the body's wisdom due to an unhealthy fetus but my heart is hurting for her in the limbo stage she is in.
