That's exactly what I love about my pouches -- they fold up so tiny and are so easy to stuff in the diaper bag!
I also loved hotsling because the padded leg area was nice. And the bit of stretch made it more comfy.
Because I'm short, padded slings didn't work for me at all. I couldn't get them tight enough adjusted to securely hold the baby close to me. But unpadded slings work great (I just have to watch tail length LOL or they drag on the floor!)

I love, love, love the one I have/had (just sold it on TP, I think, it's pending). It's a FreeHand and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if I had the $ and a little one who wanted to be worn.
It's a little quicker to put on since it's only two straps instead of 4 to deal with. Easier with a wiggly toddler.
