((hugs)) I had a partial abruption with my third labor. It was one of the scariest experiences of my life. I'm so glad little Amelia made it through safely and that you had a supportive caregiver.
Birth Story   I started having stronger and more intense birthing waves over two weeks before Anders was born.  Since all of my previous five pregnancies involved days or weeks of prodromal labor, I was not surprised.  The night before he was born I had a particularly intense session and thought that he would be joining us soon.  After my birthing waves stopped at 2 a.m., I fell asleep.  When I woke up my uterus was quiet, so the girls and I spent the morning...

Calcium and magnesium may help. I had virtually no cramping after babies four and five, but I'm having some doozies this time. I asked for a Percocet prescription, but I'm trying to take them sparingly.
