I have posted about this a couple times and now coming back for more.  I am just soooo tired and unsure of myself ... are we doing something wrong?  I feel like a bit of a failure when it comes to babies/kids and sleep.  My 3 year old still has trouble sleeping through the night, ugh!!  So, I have 10 week old twin girls and feel like I am sleeping maybe about 4 hours accumulated a night (not enough!).  They do sleep a 4-6 hr stretch at the beginning of the night (yay)...
My dd is 3 too and we just went through a complete family break down due to her extreme behavior and after enforcing some firm rules and consistent discipline we are in a much better place.  I think setting clear boundaries is key.  Start with what your intention is for u and ur family and u will find ur way.  It is extremely difficult and painful and u r not alone:)  I am no expert but the head banging does seem a bit worrisome at this age ... ask a specialist about...
Just wanted to let u know that u r not alone.  This sounds like normal 3 year old behavior to me ... my dd does the same things.  I am thinking that a few sips of coffee is not harmful but I am no expert. Maybe trying some calms forte or rescue remedy for kids?  Best wishes:)
I have 8 week old twins and they eat sometimes every hour so u r not alone in that regard.  It can be so exhausting to be nursing all day but it is so worth it!!  i wish my babes would go a little longer between feedings too ... maybe someone else will have a suggestion?
So am I alone on this then? :)
My 8 week old twin girls usually sleep a good stretch (3-5 hrs) in the beginning of the night but seem to be restless the rest of the night.  They don't seem to go back into a deep sleep??  Should I be burping them in the night?  It seems to wake them and then we are back to square one.  I swaddle them and they sleep together.  I am not sure what I can do to help them sleep another stretch in the middle of the night.  Any ideas or btdt??  I am just soooo tired!  One...
Hi Mamas:)   Ok so help me here please ... my 3 yo dd has started waking at night again, a lot!!!  She has always gone through cycles of sleeping through the night for a couple weeks and then back to waking every night for a couple weeks and so on but lately it has gotten excessive.  She is waking a couple of times a night and does not want to continue sleeping in her bed.  Granted we have 5 week old twins and she is getting over a cold so it could be a combination...
Thank u everyone for ur responses!  It is nice to know I am not alone.  Unfortunately things have gotten worse and I am no longer getting a long stretch at the beginning of the night ... they are now waking after about 2/2.5 hours (often one will sleep longer but the other is up) then it is downhill after that.  It seems they don't really fall into a deep sleep after that which means I am not sleeping but a few mins here and there from about 12:30 on.  I am soooo...
I did post about this a week or so ago and got some nice responses but I am feeling really crazy right now ... I might lose my mind.  Why won't they sleep for more than 45mins at a time around the clock?  I am getting NO sleep!  The only sleep I get is maybe an hour to 2 hours for the first stretch at night.   One always seems to wake up after about 2.5 hours and the other will sometimes sleep for 4.  What can I do?  I am out of ideas.  We have tried them sleeping in the...
Thank u Comtessa for the reassurance!!  I have only given them gripe water and I did take them to see a Pediatric Osteopath who is great but nothing else.  We will just wait it out and see:)  I do wish that babies came with manuals, lol:)
