Soooo...do I count as TTC when *I* would like to conceive but DH isn't really interested yet? We're not 'actively trying' but we aren't avoiding or 'actively avoiding'
HI ND moms! I'm in OH actually, but just sent a good friend packin' to Minot...military folk we are...and naturally minded mamas too... My friend is having her first baby in March and I was wondering about the homebirth movement in the area...we are kinda crazy here in OH--hate it--but my dear friend is interested in learning about the homebirth scene there. So I will direct her here and hopefully you mamas can point her in the right direction. Do you have any 'like...
I'm doing OHVA with my 'to be' 2nd grader this fall--2nd year for us. LOVED it last year, but really did NOT like the music program. Repetitive (I know, I know--it's how they learn) and NOT exciting in the least. We will also be doing piano--didn't know we could sub our own lessons for the curriculum tho--LOVE that idea! We got lazy at the end of the year last year...actually, we had only started in Jan (mid year) and they 'tested' her out of the 1st half of...
Lastly...if I do take him back (remember my past Specialist seemed to think it was a-ok to have him on Miralax for YEARS until he outgrows the need...) what will they try first? Barium enema?
My story... Both my kids were exclusively bfed until one year. My daughter started getting constipated (mildly) after starting solids, but nothing big until 2.5yrs--my mom had me convinced that she needed extra dairy if I wasn't nursing her as much ...so she would add nonfat milk powder into her oatmeal. (we were staying with my folks while my dh was deployed) Around this time she started having a hard time pooping...in fact, she got a hernia and ended up with...
Well, now, it's 3boys mama...or should be! Gavin Augustus Block arrived at 12:17am on Sat 3 Oct. He is 21" long and 9lbs 3 oz with LOTS of hair Sam did great...labored and birthed on all 4s...2nd degree tear, but not along the old tear scar (cool). All natural...of course. She'll be on here to give you a blow by blow soon...she's 'resting' now
one more thing... if a kid is the 'older' one in class, chances are he/she will also be a bit bigger and maybe stronger than his/her peers at some point...this will be an advantage for sports--and could actually benefit them when it's time for scholarships etc... just a thought...far off and random, but a thought none the less... hahaha
Ok...I'll play devils advocate here... I'm a kid who didn't go to K until I was 6...I was 18 when I graduated from HS...I was the FIRST in my class to get a license and drive...which of course made me very cool. Honestly, for me I gained a LOT of confidence being older. First off, I didn't know I was older really in the early years...so I just thought I was smarter. I was in gifted programs all through school...and even graduated in the top 3% of my class (ok,...

I'm closer to Beavercreek, but DH is home with me and I could send him on a run. Congrats!!! How is the nursing and jaundice going? Let us know if you need any help...lots of LLL leaders...
It is def a miracle! My understanding: male ejaculate must have enough good sperm female vagina must have right acidity--and even so, 1/2 sperm will die off after passing through cervix many sperm die in the uterus (many sperm have a short 'life-span') then 1/2 of the sperm pick the 'right' fallopian tube of the ovary that released the egg that month then once some sperm make it to the egg only ONE is allowed to penetrate, and it must be a 'good'...
