Thanks for your reply! We started a few weeks ago and I was actually going much better, but then db had a week-long stomach bug followed by a bad case of hives for a few days, so I let him nurse on demand while he wasn't feeling...
He wakes up several times after being put down but goes back down pretty easily, until 3am. After that he stays awake and gets more and more hysterical, crying for "boo" until I give in at 5am. But if I give in at 3am, he wants to nurse...
Yesterday was my due date, and last night around midnight DD (2 yo) began an all-night puke-fest. I've gone from wanting him out to hoping he stays in another 1+ weeks so that the germs around here have a chance to die.
Hi! Lurking from the December ddc here...I just posted the exact same post on another DDC board! My DD is 25 months and was so hard to put to bed tonight, I just about lost it thinking about how hard it will be to put 2 kids to bed! ...
Yay! Congratulations! My guy is already estimated to weigh more than twice what my growth-restricted DD weighed at birth. Hopefully those unisex preemie outfits won't be getting any more use.
I'm having the same issues, plus nausea and never feeling hungry. I just keep telling him to hang in there for 3 more weeks, at least!
We're still nursing a lot (DD is 2). We went from on the way to night weaning to constant nursing at night because of sickness and 2-year molars in the last couple of weeks. Also, nipple soreness remains constant- I think the teething...
I keep getting "hot flashes" too. Although it was 85 and humid today.
Zoe has been nursing like CRAZY in the last couple of weeks, I think she's getting her 2-year molars or something because her sleep is all wacky as well. I'm getting kind of excited for tandem nursing, it will be so cute to see the two...
