The book is 25 Bags to Knit by Emma King. I did notice that many of the patterns call for using double, sometimes triple strands of yarn, so I suppose that might help.
I have a book of bag patterns and none of them call for felting once completed. How well would a knit bag hold up without felting or lining with fabric?
I am going to attempt my first cardigan and would like to try one of the patterns from Knitting Pure and Simple. Are these too difficult for a sweater newbie or are the instructions easy to follow? Thanks

I also just toss mine under the wet bag at the bottom of the trash can. It works really well.
