Woo! Great news! I don't think I'll be having an u/s until the usual 18-week one. How do all you mommas sneak in there so early?? I want one!! Of course, I can understand if there have been past losses, if there's bleeding, etc.
I swear, I already look pregnant and I'm only going to be 7 weeks along on Sunday. I am about 30 lbs overweight (though I had lost 30 lbs prior to getting pregnant) and haven't ever quite lost that mummy tummy. But now it's just...
Holla! Just outside Ottawa here. My first son was born in Toronto, where we lived for many years before moving here four years ago. My second son was born here. After reading all the cost/insurance woes of our US friends, I am SO...

For me it's milk and chocolate milk (the full-strength kind in the cartons). I didn't realize it until I bought a carton of it last night, but I do this with every pregnancy - go on a chocolate milk binge. It wouldn't be so bad except...
Well, I say enjoy it! Better that than crippling nausea. And if you're choosing healthy things like oatmeal, you're hardly stuffing yourself with crap. Bon appetit!
I think bleeding like that can be normal (you always hear about those women who never knew they were pregnant when they kept getting periods), but I would definitely call and make an earlier appointment. They may even see you right away....
