When is the glucose test done? Has anyone requested to drink anything other then the drink they give you? I don't eat candy, drink soda, sweets, etc. I even water down orange juice. I'm really not excited about drinking the sugary yuck...

Did anyone just use a convertible car seat instead of the infant seat?  Are there any issues when leaving the hospital without an infant seat?  I would like to baby carry when we are out and about as well as around the house....
