Oh thank God! I thought this was just me! I had extreme PTL with my son...we were lucky we got him to 37 weeks. With my daughter, I experienced BH ctx for the first time in my pgs. With this baby, I have been in L&D twice within a two week period bc of uncomfortable yet very strong contractions 2 minutes apart, 1 minute duration. I'm talking STRONG though..so strong they were spiking off the charts. Here's the funny part though...my cervix was still closed last I knew...
Julie, Yes it is very nerve wracking. Although I am happy with one, I really wish they'd do another u/s just to be completely sure...ya know a more recent one that would definitely conclude only being one. Lol.
Oh no! Hang in there! I know how it feels and what a scary situation it truly is. With my son, I almost delivered him at right around 7 months because they couldn't control my contractions. I was in and out of L&D 8-9 times if not more and had some very close calls where they almost had to airlift me to a different hospital because nothing they were giving me would stop the contractions. I spent two months straight on strict bed rest and felt like a complete prisoner in my...
Hehe....nesting doesn't even BEGIN to describe me. I have NEVER been so obsessive compulsive about cleaning before...not even with my other two. For the past three weeks, I keep cleaning everything. I could have just swept and scrubbed the floors but in like 15 minutes if I see the slightest lint or anything, I feel the need to do it all over again! It's like I can't sit still and then I pay for it bc I have been swelling horribly this pg which is also unlike my other two....
Hi, I can't offer any help but I was just curious....how did you go 21 weeks without knowing about the twins? I only ask bc this pg...there is something way different about it from my other two. Not to mention that my dr. And nurse along with everyone I know could have sworn it was twins. However, my ultrasounds all showed one baby but I have had a strong feeling since 5 weeks it was twins. I am trying to push past everyone's incessant commenting about it being twins cause...
Ok so here goes....my son....I was just nauseated 24/7....threw up once. His hr was unusually high for a boy, I looked like a basketball and for the first time....My face was completely clear of blemishes and I had that "glow". My daughter.....I was sick from a week after my missed period...had to take phenergen to keep from throwing up, her hr was high as well, I had acne and still carried low. This pg, which they say is a girl has been COMPLETELY insane. I was literally...
I will throw in my two cents. I did one this pregnancy along with my sister in law bc my other sister in law swore by it bc it was right for her. I sprung for the money and I was hugely dissatisfied with the results. Mine was inconclusive. It was half light green and half orange. I followed the directions to a T so I know I didn't do it wrong. From what I read, it said that usually meant twins. However, my u/s showed one tiny girl. My sister in law's turned dark green...
This is really late but I just wanted to announce that my 18 week sono showed another little beautiful little girl. I haven't really been able to get on here with being in school full time and being SO sick still. I am getting ready to be 23 weeks on Thursday and my next appointment with my OB is next Wednesday. I am still feeling very uneasy because at my 16 week ultrasound, the dr and nurse practioner had suddenly brought up possibility of twins. They were both so sure I...
Well, some weird news today came in the mail. After my OB dr told me I would be fine in this pregnancy and wouldn't need to do Lovonox injections like last time...I received a letter out of the blue being referred to a blood disorder specialist on the 31st. I'm still confused as to why he suddenly sprung this on without telling me first but I guess he's doing it to protect me and my baby. So we shall see. Anxiously waiting.
My names are set in stone- boy: Lucas;girl: Gracelyn Savannah or Gracelyn Sierra. Can't agree with a boy middle name but Gracelyn is definitely special
