Sorry to hear you are having headaches! I had horrible headaches in 2nd trimester (basically as soon as I started to get big / have to adjust my sleeping). I tried everything with pillows, and to no avail. Finally I caved and bought a (used) Leach co Snoogle (long pregnancy pillow with the two hooked ends). I swear it was the best money I've ever spent. It completely changed my sleep, and let me have both good neck and good belly support. You're due soon (well, we're due...
There's no sense in checking more often than every 4 wks, unless something comes up really odd in the first set of tests. I get a test every 6 wks or so with this pregnancy, and I'm being seen by some pretty fancy endo specialists in NYC (with no problems, no complications, and i've even ended up losing -- medically approved -- weight). Sounds like you are getting treatment that matches the standard of care, and everything should be fine.
I think this problem will be pretty short-lived. If I were you I would follow all the public health instructions, and just eat well-cooked foods until this passes. You can always have your fruit in a pie if you like. Also, be careful with hand washing and other sanity procedures! This is some serious food-borne illness!
I would use a scratch kit for the drawer fronts and cut a pad out of cork or felt for the top (you'll want to protect it anyway, from water marks etc, since it's in a kids' room).   If you feel exceedingly lazy / frugal, and the scratches on the drawers aren't TOO serious, take a 64 color box of crayons and figure out what mix will match the stain, then apply to the scratches. I've actually had great luck with regular crayons...
Crashing from the July DDC (you all are such good role models in this motivational thread! I can't seem to get it together to finish my own nesting...).    re: down comforters, ymmv, but I have always washed them in the machine about once a year / once every six months (cold water, gentle detergent) and then dried in the dryer with tennis balls. It has always worked well for me, and did not noticeably diminish the life of the comforters. BUT I think this might be a risky...
Hooray for water aerobics! They're wonderful and fun. I've been going for a few months now, and I always feel much better after each class!
I find that 1/4 cup of vinegar in the toilet left for about 15 min makes all scrubbing easy. I wonder what would happen if I put a little vinegar in the tank...
mamapigeon,   Thanks! This is exactly the information I was looking for!
I have never used it for diapers (baby is not born yet, but we'll be washing diapers soon enough) but I LOVE Country Save for clothes and household wash. I get it from Amazon on subscribe and save, and I'm still on the first case after a YEAR. (I even gave away a box of it to some new parents in our neighborhood!). We wash clothes VERY often, too, and use only rags for household cleaning. I think my total expense for detergent is like $50/year, which seems reasonable to...
Thanks chel!   Wondering if someone could grab a NB size diaper and a yardstick or measuring tape and let me know roughly what the dimensions are?   Thanks everyone!
