I'm in San Antonio..... There is a Sun Harvest at Callaghan and I10... its one of the bigger ones. they take coupons and if you get their flier on Wed. then both the previous and current weeks sales are available. I like www.greenling.com for their local box. where we live they deliver on a tues. I make my list. hit the Sun Harvest Sales with the HEB flier in hand and then finish up my shop at HEB on the way home
I don't know the answer but i hope someone else does :) Im a bit of a book hoarder....at the moment Im aiming for three piles. keep because it bothers me not to. donate and  gift.
DH gets home between 3 and 4 when he works days and grabs ds and kisses me . He usually is starving and grabs a snack with our toddler. they have some dad/son time and I get on with all the things that can be hard to do with someone clinging to your calf. Like make dinner. We eat after DS goes to bed so I feed him while DH does whatever and then he runs the bath. Bath time is DH time and i can usually count on 30 mins there. that winds up at 630 most nights. We then...
I think we need a cavewoman hair tribe.... I swear i found a baby puff in there the other day. I have waist length hair that is half poker straight and half frizzy due to extreme humidity. I have now been doing the same three things with it for twenty years.  A) the pony tail. This has many variations from top of head like a lunatic to "dear lord i think the scrunchy is about to fall on the floor" no amount of clips bows or elastic can convince it to behave for more...
My 13mo DS usually nurses before afternoon nap, bed and once in the night. that said yesterday he nursed for over an hour in the middle of the afternoon. so  He's usually too busy doing his thing to bother with poor old momma and the milkies. so 3-5 times in 24hrs would probably be the range for us
ooh can I join in..... I'm really trying and although I have lapsed since moving stateside I really feel like I can do so much better and this Lent seems the perfect opportunity...
oh dear,,,, not a nice time for you at all.... I'm not sure what the answer is but i did want to send hugs and positive thoughts. Is there any chance he still isn't well or has another issue like a new set of molars? Has anything else changed maybe? diet? Could it be that the flu segued directly into the terrible twos and tantrums? I don't think I would ignore him. he needs something even if it turns out to be nothing to do with whatever he's actively crying about. My DS...
Im in the scared to drive catagory. I can drive (or should that be could) and did when neccesary in England but once i moved to Texas I would only drive on the dirt roads where we lived in the boonies. Now that we live in San Antonio Im terrified. i get upset even as a passenger! This has been incredibly isolating as the sidewalks end abruptly the drivers have never heard of pedestrians and the distance between average house and grocery store is monstrous. oh and the bus...
I'm British Living in the States. I married a Navvie after three months of dating! whirlwind yes but after 7 years and a baby i'd say it worked out alright. I havent been home yet but we may move back there since DH retired and I can't abide the whole 'Thou shalt drive a giant car or be cursed with an inability to function' that is the hallmark of small town texas. who knows. I like it just fine for the most part and my friends and family truly believe i have moved to...
Sorry that fell through, San Antonio does have some good things going for it. Cost of living being one of them!I def. second the Monte Vista District. we just couldn't find a house there so we contracted on in Mahncke Park.
