The u/s I've had measured and looked at their organs and of course sex.  ;)  With ODD the u/s were for her heart as she had an irregular heartbeat, so I saw a specialist for that.
I used to get horrid mirgraines from the time I got my period til after I had DS.  So we are talking 10+years.   After I had him, I was good for years but after my youngest, they are back.  And migraines with 3 kids is no fun.   I do not have time to be "down".   The only thing that has helped me is water.   I can feel them coming.   And with all my joint pain, I never take meds for pain.  But when I feel it coming on, I will pop a couple ibu. and drink water till I...
I keep this in an air tight canister w/the recipes taped to the side.   ;)   3 c flour.   (I use white and wheat, 1 1/2 cup of each) 2 TBLS sugar 2 TBLS baking powder 4 TBLS cinnamon 1 TSP salt 2 TBLS ground flax seed (optional)   (I also generally triple it to fill my container.  I also use it for waffles.  I've also made just the mix, with water no eggs/milk and they've come out just as yummy, just not quite as fluffy.)   When it's time to make...
My YDD has a milk allergy, and we love pancakes here.   She drinks almond milk.  I've made pancakes for her with the almond milk and I LOVE THEM!!!!!!   I have my own mix I keep in a canister and add milk to.   If you want the recipe, I can give it, It includes cinnamon in the dry mix.   I add a splash of vanilla with the milk (almond or cow). Now I love almonds, so the pancakes w/a splash of vanilla and the almond milk is so darn good.   I'm not even preggo, and now I...
My SIL swears by her amber teething necklace.   My son is very sensitive to dyes. If I gave him pain meds of any kind, it was like he went crazy.  Possibly your dd is sensitive to the dyes also?     Another possibility I see would be that she's 2.   They can and want to do all these things, but are still too little.   I swear the day my ydd turned 2 she got very, well 2 year old like.  Whining and tantrums and also would not let us see in her mouth.  I figured...
My girls loved to nurse like that.   ODD hated the boppy.   She ate just fine at the hospital, where I didn't have the boppy.  I get home and settle down in my bed to relax, cuddle my girl and watch TV......my poor baby girl cried for like 4 hours, she was hungry and tired and would get mad!!  She'd latch on and then start wailing.   My girlie has a bottle at 2 days old, from my DH.   :(  I pumped and bottlefed for a day, when I took her to the pedi and nursed her in...
If I lost my phone, and I have, not an iphone or anything, just a simple "stupid" phone.  I would not think to check CL.   I'd figure it gone.     Is there a "home" or "mom/dad" listed in the address book?   I would make a phone call on the phone and let them know you found the phone.
Does your mom's car have a latch system?   I've had cars with the latch and without.   I've been using car seats for 8 years now, and it's a pita without the latch.   My new van has latch and it was super easy to install.  Last week it was in and out of my car.  Clip it in and off you go!  Just gotta put your knee into to get it tight.
My son is 8 and going into 3rd grade.   We had some problems early on in school, particularly 1st grade.   He's now on par in reading and writing.  He also had a speech delay, which has been corrected.   We had math and reading tutors and I did think about homeschooling him also.   The school tutoring really helped him, but he felt "left out".   I worked with him tons on reading and writing and comprension.   Practice sheets I print off the internet and just working...
I delivered my oldest at Elmhurst, they had a tub 8 years ago.    Also another vote for Alexian Bros.  I had my girls there, with a midwife.  Midwest midwives actually.    I also had no meds with any of them and both hospitals were okay with that.  They thought I was crazy, but they didn't push.
