My 22 month old also loves to put things together, and take them apart. He loves trains, and he fell in love with the small wooden train set my oldest son had. He loves to build the tracks, and he seems to enjoy the magnets...
My 22 month old is getting a train table from my Dad. We are giving him some knitted puppies, books, a few puzzles, and a felt board set.
He will be 2 in Jan, and he is getting a wooden play kitchen, and some knitted food.
We put a gate at the bottom of the stairs (the stairs are in our living room), covered the outlets, and put a lock on the cupboard under the sink.
This is all we have needed to do so far, other than vacuum all the time! I swear this...
I am knitting both kids a "Study Buddy" (stuffed wool animals, different one for each of them), and pairing that with a new book each, which will be waiting with their school books on our first day of school.
I think I will...
Sophie The Giraffe is Kieran's favorite. He will chew on her knobbly head for a long time!
He also likes the Haba teethers, and a wash cloth works well, but Sophie wins out over anything else we've tried.
Formula (low supply despite trying everything)
Pear (his favorite other than bm/form so far)
Avocado (only one he didn't like at all!)
That's it for now
Oh he has also sipped water from my cup.
