Hi! I have a 2.5 uncirc'd ds. I noticed last night when changing his diaper that he had some very light greenish/yellow discharge and his penis was a bit swollen. No redness anywhere. He also seems to be pretty sensitive to touch and when he just peed in his diaper, he cried out in tears that his penis was boo-boo. Not sure what this could be? Infection? He did get pretty swollen half a year ago and his Dr. gave him some cream to help and it did help. He was fine since...

I JUST bought a bottle of Vitamin D for my boys. Glad I did.
[QUOTE=NatrlCatholicMama;14545929]One of the growing theories today about Crohn's and other autoimmune diseases, specifically those related to the gut, is that they are caused by the onslaught in our modern world of things that throw off gut bacteria. These include even life-saving things like formula, vaccines, c-sections, & antibiotics, all of which seriously disturb the gut flora which digest our food and comprise some 80% of the immune system. That would mean that...
My specialist for my ds (who is 5) is pushing both the flu vax & swine flu vax because he has Crohn's disease (auto immune disease + Celiac disease) and is on 6-MP, which suppresses his immune system. I've never gotten any flu shots for my kids, & not even very many other vaxes, until he was dx. I don't know what to do. I'm scared that if I don't vax him, he won't be able to fight off the flu or anything else that he gets hit w/ in relation to the flu. BUT, I'm also scared...
Uh oh ... just now saw the Announcement ... I guess I should post this question in the other post?

Hi! What do you mamas use to mop your hardwood floors with? I want something that will REALLY get the dirt and grime off and the germs, too!
It sounds like your little one may be tired earlier and by the time you get him to sleep, they're over tired. I started getting both kids to be an hour before their bed time and they fall asleep SOOOOO easy at 7pm. If it's 8pm, they're both fussy, floppy, getting up and down. Might be worth a try!
Yes! Yes! You need to rule things out as quickly as you can. The quicker you rule things out or find out the cause, the better chance you give your baby of healing! From my experience, GI Drs are not pill poppers. GOod luck!
My 20 month old son threw his head forward and hit it pretty hard right between the eyes, upper nose (not on the nose). It immediately turned purple and swollen. Of course both eyes are black and blue now (did this yesterday). Are there are bones around there that I need to worry about? He's not complaining about it or too sensitive about it at all. Another Mom mentioned that maybe he could've broken a bone around his eye socket area? Or flaked it off and now it's floating...
