My insurance required 6 months of charts before they would cover the HSG.  So my OB/GYN was happy that I had them already.      Nemrac, did you have a progesterone blood test?  Or did your doc just prescribe it based on your charts?    Pitch, are you scheduling surgery for your fibroids or are there more tests?  At least you have some clues.   Lilac, I was bummed about your temp drop since I was stalking your chart.  I put my FF account on hold so it was kind...
AF came yesterday! The first time I have ever been excited about AF - my hubby is going away on a trip on the 16th and I will probably o on the 14th so timing is right for once!  Praying for a V-day baby!
Shell - I am sorry to hear about your vengeful AF!  I've been curious about soy isoflavones for awhile, but my acupuncturist long ago told me I should stay away from phytoestrogens.     TeamViddy - The cramping sounds like a good sign.   I think any change from my regular cycle symptoms is a good sign though!   Lilac - I am with you on timing for summer vacation babies.  At this point though, I'll take any baby, any time!     nemrac - Sorry to hear about your...
Yay Femmiknitzi!
Hey everyone!  I took a break from mdc since I was no longer TTC after the news of the blocked tubes.  However, I had a mini-lap done last week and they were able to unblock my tubes.  So now I am about to start TTC again.   Apparently my tubes are unusually narrow and will be prone to blockage so every month before I ovulate, the Dr is gonna flush them with saline and prescribe meds to keep them from spasming until I get the BFP.  The mini-lap was miserable...
Erica - - Yay! This thread has been crazy this month!    Who else is still in the running?     AFM - I have to go for a laproscopy to see if things can be unblocked.   If not, we won't go for IVF, we are pursuing adoption from foster care.  Our insurance doesn't cover IVF at all which realistically means a price tag above 20K since I would have to pay for every blood test, prescription, ultrasound, dr's visit and the IVF procedure all out of pocket.  My coworker...
A radiologist did the HSG.  My Dr wants to discuss my options with me when I go in to see him on Thursday but the office already started the preauthorization for the lap for my HMO.  My HMO is awful - it can take up to a month to get approval for a non emergency procedure.   I will call the Dr's tomorrow and ask for them to start the paperwork for the hysteroscopy too.    My lap won't be until February b/c we have to wait for the approvals.    This whole process is so...
Hooray LakeRuby!    EricaF - congrats on your year! I stalked your chart and it is looking good.  How are you feeling?   Pitch - I hear ya on going to a Fertility Specialist.  I wish I hadn't waited so long.  :(       AFM - I've been avoiding the medical "next steps" for a while in lieu of vitamins/acupuncture/etc.   Well I just had an HSG revealing both of my tubes are blocked.  Oh well.   I guess this explains 21 cycles of no BFP.
Went to have an HSG this morning.... both tubes blocked.   A lap is scheduled next. I am guessing endo.  I guess my IF is no longer "unexplained."     At least I can stop TTC in the meantime.
Lol, kparker, my IF ifs were bitter as well...   cbaa, for a successful IUI.
