Everyone has such beautiful names! I love Vivienne!
I am pretty sure this kiddo is a boy. In which case, dh doesn't like many of the names I like.
Yesterday we talked about Declan, or Dex for short.
I agree! Boy names are so hard!
Quote: Gosh. You just said what I am rarely able to put into words. I struggle daily with the question, "Is this my life?" I was raised in a working home. Both parents didn't get home until 5 or later everyday. Staying at home is so foreign and odd to me, and I struggle with this too. It also is exhausted that my job doesn't ever end. I am not very good at asking for "me" time and even when I do get precious moments I feel so overwhelmed with "omg, cherish these...
Haven't done any research yet, just thought I would come to you experienced car seaters first.
Is there a difference in safety between an infant car seat and a convertible? We would like to get a Diono for our upcoming baby, and am curious, although they say for 5lbs + up, if there is any benefit to an infant seat. Besides the bucket - stroller thing.
Please share your experiences. Thanks all!
Last time I had my mom, DH, and a volunteer doula. I felt really alone. My mom was mostly excited for baby and a bit worried about me (even though things were going great), DH was in shock, and it was doula's first time, so she just sort of sat and stared and asked a few questions. I felt super calm and happy for my mom to be there, but she also stressed me out a bit. (Natural birth is a bit of new thing to her). DH is a super introvert and just sort of processed things...
Penny, where you stressed?? Dizziness is definitely a pregnancy thing.
I had a high bp a few times from too much anxiety, & seemed to be much more sensitive to things last time around. Hopefully your OB/Mw will have a good answer for you.
Try to relax!!
Last night I had a total breakdown and was questioning man kind as a whole.
I noticed an elderly woman in the parking lot of the market. She was parked in a handicapped spot (on a slope) & was clearly struggling. I was walking in from a distance, and I noticed that not one of the workers at the market stopped to help her. She couldn't hold on to her basket and put the groceries in at the same time, so she spilled her bags. Groceries went everywhere. I was so annoyed...
I can only speak from my own experience but I have had cramping on and off with each of my pregnancies. Sometimes it feels like growing/stretching pains for me.
I know it can be so scary. I had a miscarriage too and I have a hard time moving beyond the fear or losing another baby. But, gotta keep going.
Hope everything is just normal pains associated with pregnancy.
Sorry for your loss Mona.
I miscarried at home once as well. Mine was long and drawn out...a few weeks actually of spotting/cramping, then the actual miscarriage day which was labor(ish) and then spotting for another week or so. I hope it ends soon.
