Does anyone here use powdered milk? Does it taste okay? Where do you get it from?
I really like the idea of having organic powdered milk, in bulk, on hand for recipes, hot chocolate, emergency preparedness, camping, etc.
Thanks ladies! The wedding is tonight and I've been planning on wearing this outfit. I tried it on today and it dawned on my I didn't know if this was okay or not. I googled it and was surprised at how many NO WAY answers I got! I would hate to offend the bride!
I'm feeling much better about it now!
Is it okay to wear a white skirt to a wedding? It's an evening wedding at a winery. I'm in the mid-west so we are more casual here, overall.
The skirt hits about mid-calf and is flowing. I was planning on pairing it with a nice black top and black pumps.
Yay or nay?
We live in St. Louis. It's considered a "transition zone" because the temps can swing pretty wildly here.
We built a house about 3 years ago and our lawn is a mess. Most lawns in our neighborhood are. We've discovered that we basically have no topsoil. Just clay and rock. We've tried natural methods: "natural", "organic" fertilizers and those special concoctions (vinegar, beer, etc). Nothing works. That's exactly what we did the first time around. Now it's harder because I have two kiddos to cook for, too. I don't like cooking as it is and doing SB means...
I'm sorry. That must be really hard.
I wish we all were able to sit through some type of "helping people through loss" class or seminar in highschool or something! I think so many people just don't know how to respond. Especially if someone "pours out their heart" it feels like anything you say in response is shallow and lame.
Also, I have a friend who did respond to her SIL's sad feelings on her fertility problems and was snapped at by said SIL and BIL about how the...
If the car was visible from the classroom, like the classroom was just a few steps away and there was a wall of windows, then that would be okay with me for about 5 minutes. Otherwise, no, I wouldn't do it. Maybe it's just my van, but if I'm idle, the AC stops blowing very cool air withing minutes and it heats up fast. I just wouldn't do it. And I would never do that if I couldn't see the van the entire time.
