My Due Date is October 14th.
This will be #2, (our rainbow) after the loss of our 1st in April 2012.
I am so excited! Our little girl will be here in 3 months!
Thank you everyone for sharing and caring!
I have to agree with everyone else here. While I was pumping (sadly I wasn't BF because my son was stillborn) I didn't lose weight at all.
Doing paleo, (no dairy either) I don't even try to lose weight. I consistently lose 2 lbs/week. I keep my nuts to 1/2 per day or less and eat 2-3 servings of fruit less than half of the days per week.
Some weeks the scale is stagnant, but the next week it always jumps. I've lost 30 lbs so far. The only other things...
I think your idea sounds great. I am also trying to lose weight and I have kept my skinny clothes. Just my favorites, but that's true of all of my clothing.
I found it to be more minimalist to not buy any more clothes for my current size, since I don't plan on continuing to wear them. I only have one dressy dress, 2 everyday decent outfits, and some junky athletic clothes to help me exercise more.
I hate shopping & I don't have money, so I'm going to make...
I'm with Nicole370 as far as the lower back counter pressure, very low moaning, hip swaying. I didn't try the wall, but will next time. I also LOVED being in my spa (I kept it at body temp). It was a used softub, so just like a birthing pool.
I also used two squatting positions during pushing: squat over toilet, hovering an inch or so above, so I could sit down during my breaks, just by dropping an inch. and then squat on all fours, up on the hospital bed...
I lost my full term son in April. If/ when I get pregnant, I won't want to tell everyone. I worry that they'll want to talk about the new baby way more than I am comfortable because they'll be excited, but I'm still grieving. And what if that means they quit talking about my son that I lost? I don't want people to feel that I'm magically all better and that I'm moving on and away from my son. I'm just moving forward. I will still miss my little boy and I don't want...
I second the people who said cotton, lightweight gauze. Leave the baby as close to naked as possible and swaddle them up. They will be cooler with the gauze than if they were naked in the sun because the gauze keeps out the sun, but allows evaporation/ sweating.
I would not recommend the Dylon Dyes. For sure go with the Dharma Trading Company Dyes. They are beautiful and they bond chemically to the diapers so that the dye doesn't come off on your baby. It is permanent and will not fade! If you have any questions about Dhama Dyes, let me know. I got the dye specifically to dye my diapers.
