Congraultions on the birth of your baby girl! I am so sorry to hear about your scary complications, I hope you have stabilized now and that your arm is healing up too. Lots of healing and speedy recovery thoughts to you!
Hope everyone feels better soon!!
I am feeling sooo discouraged. Last time my water broke to start labor. Now I'm going on day 3 of prodromal stuff. Still having bloody show so that's good I guess. But I really thought last night was the night so now it feels like I'm going to be pregnant forever.
Tomorrow is my birthday (maybe I'll get some birthday buddies from our board!) and I just dont feel like celebrating at all. It's been a rough weekend with DH and I think that...
I was on pelvic rest for most of this pregnancy (19-36 weeks) and have only been able to dtd twice since getting the go ahead. Part of me would like to get some in now for the same reasons as you, Chloesmama, but it definitely comes along with hours of intense ctx. I think I'm very sensitive to the prostaglandins:-) I think I will be trying to encourage things along this weekend and hopefully that will help...if not it's good relaxation practice for the real thing.
I'm so sorry to hear about your birth experience. I hope you get some time to process it, maybe just journal if you ever find a free minute (I realize it may be a while before you have any sort of free time). My MW was just talking to me the other day about how she wants to start a birth trauma class to help mamas process through these experiences- I think it should be mandatory for all hospitals/birthing centers to have available.
Congratulations on your two sweet...
How many weeks are you now?
Having new symptoms or annoyances?
This lightening crotch stuff is getting pretty intense- I am worried about having these shooting pains during labor. Other than that normal stuff: back and pelvic pain, swollen legs, cannot bend over or squat without a huge amount of effort. And I am also going back and forth between several BMs/day and being constipated, ugh.
What's making you smile this week?
.We had a beautiful...
I successfully did NFP before DD was born for about 1 1/2 years but it took one "oops" to get pregnant with her (I ovulated really late and was traveling so my signs were a little off). After she was born my cycle statyed away for 6 months during which time we used condoms just in case I ovulated early. Then I used NFP from the time she was born until trying to get pregnant this go around (about 4.5 years). We switched from using condoms to pull out during the fertile...
