Oh what a timely thread, thank you to another mama who posted this thread in another thread about spotting that I started!!  I am curious if anyone was breastfeeding an older child or 2 when they had bleeding in their pregnancy?  A few very trusted people in my life are convinced that my bleeding, which is very minimal, is a cause  for concern BECAUSE I am breastfeeding.  I am still in my first trimester, and in previous pregnancies it has always stopped before the 2nd...
No cramping, just spotting, even a litte bright red, fresh blood last night!  Scared me, but it didnt continue.  It's usually just a few brown spots daily, sometimes pink when I wipe, but usually brown.  My midwife is scaring me, telling me to wean my older child, and I could miscarry due to the breastfeeding + spotting, or have a preterm delivery later on.  Experiences please ladies :)  In my previous pregnancies I spotted as well, barely with my first, although lots...

http://geneticroulettemovie.com/ -This is the one i posted about a week ago. The free viewing period has been extended til Nov 6. This is my favorite video of the one's I am posting. Also be sure not to move your mouse from side to side much or it will switch circles, just click on the one you were originally...

Orpington, as in the UK?  Darn it lol I'm in the US!  As much as I want the virus I can't travel that far lol.  Do they vaccinate for chicken pox in the UK?  That is why so many parents are getting desprate for it here in the states.  Vaccination means not as many kids getting it now, so it doesnt spread, so the unvaccinated kids can't aquire natural immunity to it because they can't find the virus!   :)
Hey mama's, I have been talking with so many parents lately who are in need of chicken pox for their children so I thought maybe we could start a thread here on mothering, and every time someone has the chicken pox, that mama could post here that her child has chicken pox and maybe offer to send out infected suckers, clothing, toys, tissue's etc for the cost of the item and shipping, or better yet, post her location (or general location) so that any mama's in the area...
Hello ladies.  Lately I have had irregular cycles- late periods, periods lasting much longer than usual, very close periods, etc.  My entire life I have had extremely regular periods and very predictable cycles, except the past 6 or so months!  I am only 24, have no medical issues, and have even been to a medical doctor (which I usually avoid at all costs!) about this issue.  He checked my thyroid, which came back normal, and said he didnt know what else to tell me...
Thanks that is good advice!  You know, I dont have any website links (besides mothering) or books to share, I've honestly never read much at all about GD, I just dont believe in spanking....  I could use some help myself with discipline sometimes, or maybe self control, because I tend to start screaming when I get really stressed (and then feel like an idiot and a jerk 5 minutes later).  I am by no means perfect, but how this girl talked, I knew she was proud to be a...
