Way to go, Anyuka! I had an okay day - big salad with tons of veggies for lunch. We went out for Thai food for dinner. No excercise today; unless shredding old documents and cleaning the kitchen count...
I am sick of winter! This year has been a difficult one. I am usually thrilled to get the boots and coats put away and wash the grime from the windows. I don't change colors in the house, but I understand your urge! I think I would figure out a way to take down the dark curtains and either leave the windows bare or put up something that lets more light in for the spring and summer.
We all need sunlight!
So many food temptations!!!! I am noticing that I really need to plan for snacks or I eat whatever is in front of me. cv I did teach a family yoga class today, walk on the treadmill for 20 minutes and I took my kids swimming at the YMCA.
But then I ate 1/2 a chicken bake and and shared a Coke with my daughter at Costco for lunch. I would have been much better off if I had brought a PB&J sandwich and a bottle of water.

Hey mamas -
Just an update. I agreed to take on two more yoga classes starting next week. So I will be teaching 5 classes a week and working 15 hours a week at my desk-job. I think it will be fine, but now I will teach 4 mornings a week and one evening. Send good vibes my way - I am reluctant to be away from my 4 year old so many mornings each week, but I decided to take this opportunity that presented itself.
I teach yoga and I did my yoga teacher training in Chicago in 1998-99. There are alot of programs here in Chicago. I looked in the current issue (Feb 2008) of Yoga Journal and studios, some with teacher trainings, that are listed in North Carolina are in Asheville, Carborro, Chapel Hill, Charlotte, Durham, Gastinia, Greensboro and Raleigh.
I had a too-much food day. I went to breakfast with a friend and ate a bacon, mushroom and cheese omlet and hash browns. I also made myself a high fat snack just now (way too close to bedtime!) I drank WAY too much coffee today...
