Glad to hear I'm not alone. Mine started around week 27 as well and one night they were timeable, every 15 minutes. My midwife told me to drink more water and lie down. Now I feel them a lot even though I just walk, drink tons of water and no heavy lifting. I'm a FTM but she said some women are really in tune with their bodies so we just feel what is normal.
I sure do hope this helps with labor!
lol no phobiageek is a name that I've used since college. Back then, I was obsessed with knowing all sorts of phobias like caulrophobia is fear of clowns, bogeyphobia is fear of the boogeyman, pantophobia is fear of everything so I was a phobiageek :)
I think that's very okay. I didn't feel anything until last week, which was 20 weeks. I was also worried but I had my anatomy scan and my placenta is in front so that's why I wasn't feeling much. As the baby gets bigger I'll feel more.
Sorry you're going through that! I just had to move out of the place I lived with my xDH and into a new place with my DP. xDH also wasn't cooperative so I just gave him a timeline on when to pick things up or they were going to Goodwill. That did the trick. But it really sucks to move while pregnant. I was SO tired and over it by the end of it. I've been in the new house for 3 weeks and still not done unpacking because I have no desire. I do a teeny bit (like 30 minutes)...
I know I'm a little late to this but I found some jeans at Motherhood and womanwithin.com (which is really reasonable - they run large though so keep that in mind). I'm a size 18-20 pre pregnancy and Motherhood XL fit me ok and didn't need to go up to the 1X plus size, which I originally grabbed but were way too baggy.
I felt the same exact way when I started wanting to avoid bending over. I am a plus size mom but I didn't expect to feel that way this soon. Can't imagine how it'll be at the end. I haven't gained more weight than I should but my bump on top of regular belly is probably too much lol. I had an ultrasound and the baby wasn't measuring big either so at least that's good.
I'm 15 weeks but have been in maternity jeans since 9 weeks. I was super bloated and couldn't stand anything tighter against my belly. Bought a couple tops that were too big and now I'm getting into them. I've been wearing my same tops but have had to buy a couple maternity tops because I need more length. My belly hasn't expanded too much but the top of my belly has where I guess my organs and whatnot are being pushed up are. I do need more tops now though. Its exciting.
