Are there things you can do to help you focus on the present? Mindfulness exercises? I have an app on my iPhone called The Now. Worrying about how he'll be at 3 yo won't do you any good. You can't base how he is or has been & try to predict the coming years. Is there a support group that your therapist can recommend? I go to a dialectical behavior group every Sat. It's been extremely helpful.
