I wanted to add a little bit. Formula feeding moms only get WIC for 6 months pp while bf moms get WIC for a full year. BF moms also recieve an extra gallon of milk and lb of cheese monthly. I have recieved 2 pumps from the WIC office, 6 yrs apart. The first time I was working and needed to pump the second time I was going in for surgery and needed to pump for the time I was to be away. They offered me a loaner hospital grade or a double Ameda to keep. I decided...
We started off doing the tooth fairy thing, but after so many children and so many teeth we started having problems with the tooth fairy remembering to visit our house. Now dh makes an offer on the teeth, the kids usually accept and that is that. Certain teeth get better offers. My 6 yr old just lost both her front teeth. She had injured one of them and it has had a grayish look to it for several years, that one got a better offer since we were all excited that it...
I haven't met anyone famous, but dh has a knack for it. The latest: dh was working out of town and was sick as a dog, ran into the grocery store to get some OTC meds. While he was waiting in line he called me and told me I would never guess who was in front of him. I figured it was probably someone we knew from the area and he just laughed, it was Shawn Michaels the pro wrestler. Of course I didn't believe him. So what did my dh do. He ran him down in the parking...
I have heard that it smells sweet as well. I never really noticed, by the time my water has broke in all my labors I was having to concentrate too hard to get through the contractions. Kasey
My little ones always seem to say cock porn for pop corn. My oldest son would use the term "as big as" but it always sounded like "big a$$" One more, my then 3 yr old son had accidently seen the web site where you are doing the maze and a picture of the girl from the exorcist pops up. Well he was telling dh about it and says "Then the X girl popped up and I said WHAT THE HELL!" Dh and couldn't do anything but laugh about it.
Great! I have a set of those same sheets shown at the end. lol
I did an elective induction with my 4th child (my first son as well). It was intense as the pitocin contractions hurt way worse than natural ones. I got to the hospital at 7:00 am and he was born before 3:00 pm. Everything went smoothly, but I did get an epidural at about 7 cms because the nurse scared me into thinking it was my last opportunity to get one and that labor was going to get way worse. I pushed a bit to hard and quickly and tore my cervix. And as a...
BTDT way too many times to count.
Sounds normal to me, you probably have been over doing it a bit. It is natures way of telling you to slow down and rest a bit.
I have learned that: *Apparently if you are a doctor your time is more valuable than mine *That my 14 yr old is way to responsible and needs more free time to be a kid *That the only person I feel needs "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" taken away from her is my sister. She reads way to much into things. *that it is amazing that a 32 week preemie can gain over 5 lbs in 7 weeks! WTG mommy milk *things will get back to "normal" when the baby is born and I...
