Sorry I'm in a rush. Here are two great resources. A good book: ‘Aromatherapy: Essential Oils for Vibrant Health & Beauty’ by Roberta Wilson A good website: http://www.saffronrouge.com/s.nl/c.A...ategory.704/.f
Ok, here's my efforts on an exfoliating cleanser. Note, not make up remover. Ground up Almonds Tahini Water Evening Primrose Oil (or some other face oil) Add some of the face essential oils I mentioned above if you have them. Mix everything into a paste. Press and release into skin with a rolling motion. You could try Green Tea instead of water. Play around with the consistency. It should be like runny breakfast oatmeal.
It's important to exfoliate before moisturizing to remove dead skin cells. No point to moisturizing dead skin. Also a good toner or floral water to hydrate the skin cells. Here are tons of organic products for dry skin from cleansing to masks: http://www.saffronrouge.com/s.nl/c.A...ategory.963/.f I totally agree with the water. Also eating lots of healthy oils like flax, salmon, hemp, etc... Rose oil is good for very dry with. Evening Primrose oil, rose hip...
Hmmm...for oily skin I need to think about the cleanser a bit. As you can tell I'm a skincare nut. I don't actually wear make up but I take amazing care of my skin...and I experiment a lot. For a toner, try green tea in a mist bottle. It doesn't smell nice and won't keep more than a few days. But green tea is amazing for the skin. I play around with floral waters which is very similar to the green tea mist really. Recently I've tried Sandalwood water with Rose...
3 herbs are really good for ezcema. Viola (excellent) Calendula Lavender (more for the inflammation and pain) The only prodcut with Viola in I've found great is by Jurlique. http://www.saffronrouge.com/s.nl/c.A...t.A/id.1312/.f Calendula oil is good for body. Add a 10-20 drops of Lavender to 100ml of Calendula Oil also. Hope this helps.
Stress Diet Hormones (definately) Change in environment Time of year (ever notice you lose more hair in the Autumn when the leaves fall?) ...tons of factors. Yes, washing with luke warm water is great. Surface cleansing AND deep cleansing. Steaming but not too hot or for too long. This will aggrevate the skin. Try putting Lavender (or Tea tree if it's not too strong) on the spots. Try a good balanced clay mask. One with something other than just clay in...
Baking Soda will change your skins pH balance.
Exfoliate then moisturize. No point on moisturizing dead skin cells. But don't scrub, this can tear the skin tissue. Do a press and release motion, rolling the finger tips from one side to the other (make sense?). This also activates the skin's lymphatic system, gets circulation going and deeply cleanses the pores. Then for something basic, try using a LITTLE bit of pure base oil such as Apricot, Rosehip (best), Evening Primrose (may be slightly sticky if you use...
Read E-Myth by Michael Gerber I also disagree with start small grow big. Sorry. Read E-Myth. Put everything aside and dream of how you see your business perfect...making you happy...helping others...etc... Dream big. Set your plan. Execute it small (or large if you're brave) steps, however you're comfortable...but always have that goal you're reaching for. I think it's all about vision. If you get in the car and drive with no destination where will you...
