The US isn't going to national healthcare anytime soon. Privitised healthcare is too big of an industry. Also, even though the circ rate in Canada is low, I honestly doubt it's ever going to drop to nil - from what I've seen here in BC...

I think considering that you already have an intact son the conversation needs to be had ANYWAY. The last thing you want is him making those "if I was home he'd be cut" comments around your son and give him body shame issues.

Usually the girl breaks up with him anyway because the foreskin was just an excuse. See: MTVs Undressed for a good example of this.

This doesn't surprise me at all after the treatment my son by 2 doctors in the UK. They said ballooning and non retracting by age 3 = need for circumcision.
