I am wondering if anyone else has started college while they were homeschooling. I have 4 kids, ages 9, 8, 6 and 14 months. I am really wanting to start school, hopefully in the spring. My classes for the first couple years would be part time, while i get the core studies done. Then after a couple years, i would have to switch to pre med, and there is no part time pre med. I would want to continue homeschooling during this time, but i dont know how i would be able to do...
After hearing last week, that my chances of carrying a baby to term is less than 30%, we are waiting until we see the appropriate specialist, to see if there is an easy fix for my recurrent second trimester losses. ( baby dies, not spontaneous abortion) I want another baby, but i am not sure it is in the cards for us. But we dont want to do anything permanant or artificial, so we are using NFP.
My Husband and I applied for Foster/adoption with an agency in my state about 2 years ago. We applied, made it thru the first interview, then in home interview, and MAPP classes were set. a week later i got a call that there was dust on my base boards, and gardening shoes, outside my front door, so my home was unfit for children. After dealing with infertility, then recurrent pregnancy loss, this was a HUGE blow to my family. I dont know if i will try again for sure, but i...
My son is 13.5 months. He is my longest nurser. ( go me) I had planned to nurse him, until at least 2, and until he is ready to wean. I was pregnant, and while pregnant i night weaned him, and i also slowly cut our nursing sessions down. I was in a lot of pain, and i heard that he would likely start nursing more, once baby came. baby isnt coming. Soooo, is there any way i can get him to increase how often he nurses? He is nursing twice in the morning, like at 530 and...

Wishing you all the best. I going out today, my lil baby didn't make it. It appears my placenta separated some, and baby died a day or 2 ago. This is my 6th baby to die in the second trimester. I am feeling sad and broken. I am saying a lot of why me, and why again.
I homeschool and I am really too sick, in my first trimester to get anything done. and then when teh baby is born we take a LONG break, aside from reading. We are unschoolers though, so i guess it doesnt really matter. I provide a rich environment for my kids, lots of field trips, and the kids pick what we study. However, they all do their math, ( math u see) and they will continue that, while i am baby mooning. They can put in the DVD and do their math on their own....
I am thinking mine will be scheduled, after my OB appt next week. Because of my history, my OB sends me to a high risk clinic for the US. We wont be finding out hte sex, and the US techs LOVE that. LOL Everyone wants to know these days, and they love not having to tell me what baby is. I am 13 weeks now, i I guess i will be having the US around 18 weeks or so. I think that is when i have always had my level 2. I would not have an ultrasound, but i want to know if...
last night i was laying down and nursing my 12 month old. he kept kicking my tummy, with is acrobats. and all of a sudden i felt a HARD kick from the inside. It was like WOW, that is TOTALLY the baby. I guess he/she got tired of being kicked by big brother. LOL I am only 13 weeks, and it was fun to feel something so definite with no question if it was the baby or gas. LOL
I love having my kids close in age. my first 2 are 13 months apart, and it was great!. and my oldest tunred 3, 2 weeks before my 3rd was born. Now they are all so close. There is 5 1/2 years between 3 and 4 and it was much harder than having 2 close in age. there will be about 18-19 months between 4 and 5, and i am looking forward to them being close in age. Then the girls were little, i did a lot of resting when they slept. That was a big one! also eating all the...
