Today has been a bad day for me. I really hate my job, but I'm trying to stick w/it, because even though I'm still applying elsewhere-I'm not even getting any calls back for interviews. Today my friend who has started taking me to work wasn't at her apartment when it was time to go to work. I started freaking out because I knew I'd have to take the bus, but just moved to Vegas and don't know the entire bus system all the way. I ended up walking/running 4 miles, and...
I've been working every single freakin weekend since I started my job(which I hate) 5 months ago. I would sooooo love it that place was closed for Sundays, just so I could relax w/my family. Yeah, I miss those days too, but more importantly I miss the days when life was more laid back, not rush rush rush.

Mine isn't minimum wage, but quite low for this area, compared to same position at many of the casinos here. One temp agency wouldn't even hire me, because I hadn't been working for atleast a year, but I never did have a good experience with them. In a way, they discriminated against SAHP's, because even if you have 25 years experience in your field, you still could not work with them if you didn't have *current* work exp. I'm trying really hard to find work at home...
I hate my job. Most of the people in my department speak Spanish, so there is a communication problem. Of course when I was hired, no one told me this, and on the first day of orientation, everything was spoken in Spanish. The only new person who speaks English besides myself quit, and the other co-worker is deaf(whom I enjoy greatly when we can talk). The two 3 managers speak English, but mostly everyone in my department speaks Spanish(and of course they can't put me...
LoL! I wish Nevada didn't require you to parallel park. I'll have to wait until I get out there and ask someone who knows, because I didn't see any info about it on their dmv site. And, it's not like I can't parallel park. I actually did practice w/ DP. I don't think it's hard, but I made the mistake of not getting close enough to the cones, and because of that it took me more than 3 times to get the car close enough. But whenever I practiced, I got it right the...
I am almost 28, and for the first time, finally went to take the driver's test to try to get my license. Well, I failed. As soon as the instructor came, he asked me to turn on headlights, show high beamers, etc. Then he asked me to parallel park, but I was so nervous and you only get three times to get it done right, and less than 12 inches. Well, my DP said I wasn't close enough to the cone to begin with, and after that he knew I would fail. The instructor didn't...

However, I also...
