Oh wow, I wake up terrified every morning that I am doing harm to my baby. I am SUCH a stomach sleeper. I force myself to go to sleep every night on my side, but in my sleep I always turn to my stomach - so I wake up in that position every morning. I am 34 weeks and this is still happening! Please tell me there's no harm to the baby, only my discomfort upon waking!
Do you live in any sort of subsidized housing? Because if you do, they unfortunately have the right to dictate absurd levels of "cleanliness" - as in "nothing may sit on the floor except for furniture" and "nothing may be on kitchen counters other than small kitchen appliances and sealed storage containers" (personal experience from years ago here - I was told I was not keeping a clean apartment because there was a child's toy wagon on the living room floor, and several...
I have very long straight hair (gets tangly due to length) and my DD has wavy/curly hair (gets tangly due to texture). I *love* Back to Basics Sunflower detangler spray - I use it on both of us. When detangling DD's hair I: 1) make sure I use conditioner every time I wash it! 2) liberally spray it with the detangler spray before brushing/combing, making sure I get the underneath layer as well as the top layer 3) Use a WIDE tooth comb or a boar-bristle style...

I'm sure I have many, but here's one that comes to mind - I thought the word "gaudy" was "God-dy", as I had only HEARD it, never seen it in print. One night I overheard my mom and dad talking about ordering my sister and I some dresses from a catalog. My dad said about one, "I don't know, it's awfully gaudy." Not knowing the word, I heard it as "God-dy" and was picturing a dress with little pictures of a haloed praying Jesus all over it! Imagine my surprise when my...

What is the non-derogatory term for it then (I mean, to you personally - obviously my friends don't...
